'Absolutely loved pretty much everything about this place. The staff was super friendly and accomodating. The room was great. Very spacious, comfortable, clean, plenty of space to put clothes away (big closets). The bathroom is massive with seperate shower and bath. One of the 2 showerheads wasn't working very well, but it didn't bother us as we used the other one. The hotel pool is not very big but a good size to cool down in the summer heat. 'A beautiful place with a fantastic view over the ocean. We were warmly welcomed and helped with advise for restaurants and how to get there. The breakfast was truly amazing. A real shame we stayed only for 1 night...'

'Our stay was amazing! We were in and out, staying just one night, but loved our stay at The Whale on Main. Thomas was an amazing host, he walked us through where to go in town and what to see. And as we were leaving, he helped us plan the path we should take to our next destination. He even printed out a map for us that included all the stops! I would absolutely recommend staying here for a wonderful visit to Hermanus.'

'I loved staying at the Hotel Roosje van de Kaap - Helpi was so welcoming and super friendly. The hotel has a restaurant but is also close to other dining options. There's also onsite parking - I'd definitely stay again next time I'm in Swellendam.'
