KoKo Cottage: Adorable 2-Bedroom Ocean View and Lanai

Enjoy our beautiful cottage all to yourself at a cool and breezy 1400' elevation just 10 minutes from town and minutes up the mountain from the Kona International Airport. Relax at the end of a fun day of adventure with a glass of wine on the spacious lanai while you watch the sunset.

Our cottage is a perfect base for exploring, whether you want to have fun in beautiful Kailua-Kona or head north to some of the world's most spectacular beaches we're located conveniently between the two.

Guests have access to the entire guest cottage and lanai as well as a dedicated parking space in front of the cottage just off of the paved driveway.

Our family of 4 lives in the front house separated from the guest cottage by an enclosed free standing garage.

Please note:
Bugs & Critters: Hawaii is home to some of the world's most beautiful scenery - as well as a huge variety of little critters . Our cottage is professionally cleaned between all bookings and also has routine professional pest control treatments however bugs will still be found inside on occasion. Ants, centipedes, spiders, cockroaches, mosquitos, bees, moths, frogs, geckos, and even scorpions are common all over the Big Island. We do our best to eliminate pests by having screened windows and providing bug spray, but those with intense fear of bugs and small pests may prefer to stay elsewhere.

Feathered Creatures: Our home is located in a neighborhood with large parcels of land and is overflowing with Turkeys, Pheasants, Chickens, Roosters (Hawaii's true state bird, haha), and even flocks of wild parrots and other beautiful birds. We do not encourage or deliberately house any of these however it is not uncommon to have them around. We have disposable earplugs available in the cottage if you find that they are too exuberant in the early mornings.

Other: Our area is relatively quiet however one block over is a busier road so you may hear more vehicles certain times of day. Also, due to the open air lifestyle in Hawaii, some residential noise from neighbors is to be expected. Additionally, as guests on our property you will occasionally see and hear us and our two children (ages 8 and 10) as we come and go with daily life
