Het stijgende uitzicht op de oceaan vanuit bijna elke kamer is adembenemend in dit luxe Hawaiiaanse resort. Gelegen in de bekroonde gated community van Kahakai Estates, biedt dit huis met 3 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers een vrij gevormd ingegraven zwembad en meer dan 900 vierkante voet van buiten leefruimte in de overdekte Lanai. Open de extra grote glazen schuifdeuren vanuit de Grote Zaal en breng het buiten naar binnen. Geniet van prachtige zonsopgangen over Hualalai en prachtige zonsondergangen over het blauwe water van de Stille Oceaan vanuit uw tropische buitenoase.

U zult genieten van de open plattegrond van dit ruime huis met de grote grote kamer die woonkamer, eetkamer en keuken combineert met granieten aanrecht, ontbijttafel en roestvrijstalen apparaten. De grote kamer is uitgerust met een tv met groot scherm met HD-kabelprogrammering en gratis hi-speed wifi internet. De prive, master suite met grote badkamer heeft direct uitzicht op de oceaan en zit tegenover de grote kamer van de twee gasten slaapkamers. Het huis is gelijkvloers en er zijn geen trappen.

Dit prachtige huis ligt op 1/2 hectare professioneel aangelegde woning met koninklijke palmen, tropische planten, lavastenen muren en een prachtig grasachtig gazon. Prive en afgelegen, maar toch op slechts 5 minuten lopen over een eigen fietspad naar Ali'i Drive. Loop of fiets naar White Sands Beach Park en Kailua Village, waar u kunt winkelen, dineren in restaurants aan zee, een cruise bij zonsondergang of snorkeltocht kunt maken en vrijwel elke toeristische activiteit kunt vinden. Geniet van enkele van de beste snorkelmogelijkheden op het Grote Eiland op slechts enkele minuten afstand in Kahaluu Beach Park of Honaunau Bay naast de Refuge Place in Puuhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park. Dit huis ligt op enkele minuten van Safeway, Walmart en Starbucks en op slechts 15 minuten rijden van de luchthaven Kailua Kona.

Ze nemen geen gesprekken op, maar ze waarschuwen ons wel als het geluidsniveau de woongrenzen in het gebied overschrijdt.

So clean we thought we are the first to use the property. The ocean view is gorgeous. Large and comfortable for our family of 6 ranging from 5 to 63. The kitchen is stocked well. Even a waffle maker. Lots of supplies. Close to everything. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Perfect retreat with spectacular sunset views

The Kamilo House was the perfect accommodation for our family that visited the Big Island. It’s located in a gated community that was so quiet that it felt like we were the only ones there! The property itself was spacious and clean and included everything we could have possibly needed for our stay, and more! Shops and restaurants are just a short drive away, and for the adventurous you can easily walk into town. Mahalo for letting us stay at this wonderful property.

Birthday Getaway

We loved our stay here to celebrate our daughter’s 19th Birthday. House was wonderful - VERY clean and just as described with best stocked kitchen we have had. The back yard/lanai was the best part - already missing our morning coffees and breakfasts out on the lanai. Perfectly located - close enough to Kona but far enough away to enjoy the peaceful quiet. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful home with lots of outdoor living in paradise! A great location.

We loved staying here. It was beautiful and had many amenities with lots of outdoor living space and foliage. We thought the pool could have been cleaner (the home’s rule book said someone would be by to clean it weekly, but that did not happen. The pool vacuum also seemed to be broken or not working). The home’s rule book also read a little like ‘stay here, but don’t have fun’. It gave obvious suggestions like be respectful with noise and also many great ideas for local places to visit. But then it also said things like “don’t do cannon balls in the pool” which seemed excessive. The home was very clean, though, and nicely furnished. Someone put liquid hand soap in one of the bathroom’s foam hand soap dispenser’s which rendered the soap in that bathroom basically useless, but that was a minor thing to us with a simple fix to the grocery store. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would visit again! Just please clean the pool better next time. Thank you for a great stay!

Fantastic Home

We stayed for two weeks and wished we could have stayed longer. The house was amazing with beautiful views, an amazing pool and lanai, and great kitchen for cooking. The house is really close to shopping, but also in a beautiful, and quiet, neighborhood. We had an issue with the washer as well as some little fire ants (LFA), but the rental property management team was impressively responsive. Within hours, the washer was fixed and the hot tub area treated for ants.

Fantastic rental!

Private Estate Escape with Ocean Views for the Win

Property/Location: 10/10 not too far from downtown and activities, nice to be in an estate area, great views and landscaped yard, perfect home for entertaining with enough room for everyone. We enjoyed this property overall and happy to discover the fence around the pool (which were not in the pictures), the outdoor shower doesn't exist (shown in pictures) Hot tub was on a timer which was unfortunate as we like it in the morning and wouldn't come on past sunset. Although the lengthy rental agreement states #38 of 68 terms, "38. RIGHT OF ENTRY AND INSPECTIONS: Kona Coast Vacations will have the right to enter the Premises pursuant to state law; (1) In case of emergency, without prior notice. (2) To make necessary repairs, alterations, improvements, supply necessary or agreed services, exhibit the Premises to prospective or actual purchasers, mortgagees, Guests, workmen, insurance agents, or contractors. GUEST acknowledges that routine care taking, and grounds maintenance will occur periodically during the lease period." The most frustrating of this property was all of the pool, yard maintenance people that came by during our stay unfortunately interrupted our families flow and privacy. People seemed to show up every time someone was napping including the kids or we were trying to enjoy the pool. In 5 days we had the following: pool tile guy, motion detector guy, 5 guys for landscaping, someone came to change a beach chair pad. Additional Cons: for the caliber of the property and costs, we would like to see updated beach gear as the chairs and ice chest were broken, the washer and dryer are very old, this is a personal residence so personal phones calls started at 6AM. In the end still and great Escape, would prefer less interactions with outsiders while trying to enjoy such.

A great time with the family

The house and property were outstanding. We especially enjoyed eating outside and watching the sun set over the swimming pool and palm trees. The kitchen was fully equipped with pots, pans, utensils. The heater for the "plunge pool" didn't perform as it should, but was replaced in a timely manner. All in all, highly recommended and would go back in a heart beat.

I can't say enough good things about this home. The backyard makes you feel like you are at your very own resort. You can watch both the sunrise & sunset from the lounge chairs by the pool. We enjoyed the sunshine from sunup to sundown. The home is VERY clean & comfortable. We loved watching the geckos & listening to the birds in the private tropical setting. We will definitely be returning to this beautiful home.

Beautiful home
