'The staff at Hydra hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. I was in room 201 with spectacular corner views of the port and was right next to the breakfast area with its own outdoor area. Unless you are carrying a light weight bag, just plan on hiring the donkey transportation to the hotel. 'It was a beautifully restored mansion. We were in the basement but there was plenty of sunlight streaming in from windows. Bedroom was in upstairs loft so stairs to navigate . Bathroom downstairs. Everything updated and very clean. Breakfast was delicious, from granola with fruit to eggs and small spinach pies. Tasty orange cake to top it off! Lovely place with garden and resident tortoise and areas to sit outside with a glass of wine. Highly recommend and use the donkeys to carry luggage!'

'We stayed at Maison Muse for six nights. The room was very clean and modern with everything we needed. The room included beach towels and fresh towels every day, and coffee, tee, water etc. Kostas, the host, is the nicest guy you will ever meet. Kostas is a Hydra local. He was very welcoming and super helpful, offering us the best tips for where to eat and swim, and how to get around. He made our stay at Hydra great and we would love to come back.'
