'Very nice, centrally located facility.Most, "down town", touristy things,are easily in walking distance. Staff are excellent.Rooms are nice and clean.Fitness room is small,but functional.On site laundry consists of two washers and two dryers.Breakfast area is very nice,and in 6 days,we never repeated a menu, different everyday.'

It is in a nice location by the ocean and the bar/restaurant was very enjoyable with good staff. 'The property itself was fine. I didnt like that they left opened condiments and a water bottle in the refrigerator. Or that the sink pop up didnt work, or what looks like mold developing on the shower liner. But you get what you pay for, so it is what it is. My plane changed after booking so I had to extend my time with a late checkout, which I paid almost a whole day for to check out at 5 pm instead of 10 am. 'I would not stay there again. There is no central air conditioning. That was not mentioned on property description. The office is only open for a minimal amount of Hrs. They want you to throw out your own trash. The bed mattress were hard and uncomfortable. Will not stay there again. Ever'

'Mostly very clean, except sliding glass doors. Would have cleaned myself but no cleaning materials on site. Wanted to love this place. We have stayed in other units but were delighted to find a first floor unit. The good: well equipped, comfortable, plenty of towels, and beach stuff. Nice patio area. 'The room was cool and quiet. Parking was easy and there was always a spot available. The condo had a TV and Wi-Fi and games available to play. Having a full kitchen was nice to be able to buy groceries and not eat out every night. The pool and hot tub across the street were excellent and the staff was friendly.'

'We had a great stay. The staff was very helpful and responsive with recommendations for the island. Location was fantastic near a snorkelling beach. We stayed in the Surfer Room which had a separate bathroom to go through the outside, it wasn’t bad but something to keep in mind. Overall a great stay! A reminder there is no AC.'

'We booked this location due to its proximity to the various snorkel experience offices (e.g., Sea Quest). Being able to walk to the dock (5~10 min) was great given lack of parking near the dock right before Manta ray night snorkel experience. Being able to walk back to the hotel after being in the water was great as well. Hotel itself had amazing kids pool and separate adult pool. Overall, I will stay here again if I come back to Kona. 'We really enjoyed our stay at Mango Sunset Bed and Breakfast. The temporary property managers, Gene and Kriss, made us feel very welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. They did a wonderful job of creating different breakfast dishes each day. And they used a lot of ingredients from the farm. Very peaceful retreat. We highly recommend.'
