Very nice property, the rooms are renovated, fully equipped and spacious. The WiFi works very well. The location is perfect, next to super cheap,7-11. And right across the road you have Super C. Easy to get to the beach

The suite was lovely and so was the pool but it was clear that they were operating on a shoestring and not up to 4-star standards as claimed on Expedia. The 4- and 5-star reviews were either terribly out of date or just manufactured. No dining facilities except for what passes as breakfast which came with instant coffee (at a 4-star resort?) puh-leeze. While it was a brief walk to the main town, the resort was located on a busy road that was hazardous to walk on. A good thing we got familiar with eateries and shops within a 15-min walk

Das Hotel ist viel zu teuer und hat seine beste Zeit bereits hinter sich. Die Bodenplatten sind zum Teil locker, auf den Pflastersteinen wächst Gras und beim Frühstücksraum wurde eine kaputte Tür durch eine Plastikfolie ersetzt. Das Zimmer waren ok, zwar eher unmodern und ein bisserl schmuddelig. Die Bewertungen waren völlig daneben. Wir haben anfänglich erwogen, rechtliche Schritte gegen Expedia diesbezüglich einzuleiten, vor allem, weil auch telefonisch keinerlei Hilfe erfolgte.

Excellent stay
Hotel booking and check in is easy and seamless. Rooms were recently renovated and spacious. Staff were friendly. Improvement points: Slow service during ala cart breakfast Breakfast quality and quantity Closes front door after certain time at night. Guests have to enter through side door with security post. Hotel Recep unable to help much in navigating our way in Phuket due to limited English.

It was a good, if extremely basic hotel. You would be better off looking to stay in another part of town as getting around isn't easy nor pleasant. Suggest closer to the beach or Fantasea. Pros - Staff eager and willing to assist, service was excellent. Courtesy bus for local area. Cons - Very very basic and old. Not a good location

Amazing boutique resort
Amazing boutique hotel with a very friendly staff, especially the GM Pim. This resort is for those looking for quiet days and evenings as it's a 5 minute walk to the restaurants. But....The seclusion was worth it. Tip...( Short cut )To head to the beach or the main walking strip, head to the Big C super market and go around the right side.

Nice hotel close to beach and quality restaurants.
Very warm and hospitable friendly staff who spent time recommending and booking hotels alon with transportstion etc. Food in the hotel of a high standsrd too.

Expensive but worth it.
An oasis. Lovely gardens, well tended. The apartments are huge and really clean and tidy. The manager Pim and her staff were polite and so helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them.

Sehr schöne Anlage und grosszügiges Appartement
Paar 57 das gerne viel Freiheit und doch Privatsphäre mit Komfort sucht. Wir wollen nicht den grossen Hotelrummel. Zimmer sind sehr grosszügig und gut ausgestattet, zudem eine äusserst gepflegte Anlage mit 2 Pools. Personal äusserst höflich und hilfsbereit. Nicht direkt am Strand, Mobilität von Vorteil.Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gut. Für uns ideal wir gehen wieder.

Omtänksam och hjälpsam personal. Rena och stora rum. Bra pool (extra plus för den ganska stora barnpoolen). Bra frukost. Minus för att kylen var trasig så det gick inte att få kall öl. Dock så erbjöd sig personalen att springa att köpa öl på butiken över gatan. Något dyrt.

Quiet Hotel
The woman running the operation is most cooperative, friendly and helpful. It is a 15 minute walk to the beach and you have to cross a busy main road with no crosswalk. Hotel is settled near Muslim mosque with call to prayer at 0530 every morning. Trip excursions can be arranged by the hotel. Only one person speaks English.

評価を読んでこのホテルにしました。確かに評価通りのところもありましたが、 全体的に静かすぎて、このホテル、稼働してるのかな？といった印象です。 従業員も親切でしたが、国際ホテルというわけでもないので、地元感が強く、 空いた時間で、ロビーでゴロゴロしてたり、食事してたり、人によってはひょうかがわかれるところでしょうか。

Unfortunately we had a few issues on arrival including A/C not working correctly and safe unusable. The reception staff and manager were very welcoming and helpful and arranged for an alternative room. Me and my wife stayed in a villa. Hotel description and reviews should be updated since there was a change in ownership and things appeared to be in need of updating and repair. restaurant, bar and spa facilities seemed limited or not in use. looking at earlier reviews and talking to people when we were there these facilities used to be very good but at the moment the new owners don't seem to be maintaining the same level of service. As said before hotel staff were very good and we had a pleasant stay. Our no recommendation would be yes if updating and renewal of some of the facilities were done.

Très bon hôtel ! Cadre très agréable(verdure,piscine) Privilégiez les thais villas(qui sont davantages au calme;surtout la n°2 et la n°3). Staff sympa ! Bonne restauration mais le service est un peu long pour être servi. Ceci dit,je reviendrai sans hésitation,en espérant que le staff et le manager soient toujours les mêmes.....

Un hotel cosy á taille humaine,pas de cohue au restaurant ni á la piscine. Cuisine bien préparée par le chef et pas plus chère qu'ailleurs mais dans un cadre reposant.Personnel agréable et serviable. Navette très disponible pour se rendre á la plage ou bien á 10mn á pied. Les appels á la prière de la mosquée proche peuvent déranger mais á part ça l'ambiance générale est agréable.

My husband and I were in town for a wedding. The second day at the Royal Embassy Resort, I broke my leg (at another location). The management was amazing. Not only did they lend me a pair of crutches, I was driven to the hospital, and the driver waited hours for me while I was treated. Then I was given an upgraded suite, on the main floor, to avoid using the stairs. The resort had fantastic staff throughout, very helpful and friendly. The rooms were spotless, and had a nice Thai atmosphere. Small resort, but cozy and relaxing. Food at the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. The beach and shops, including a grocery store, were within walking distance, although the hotel also had a free shuttle. I have nothing bad to say, I would definitely recommend staying there!

It's excellent if you don't value your sleep
The hotel in itself is no problem. It's been rated for excellence from tipadvisor on an average rating of 8.5 or so, the staff are friendly, the boss is professional and tackles problems with the room in no time. The environment of the hotel is lovely but a hotel's basic function is to first and foremost, provide a good night's rest as well as somewhere where guests can get clean. We didn't have a single good night's rest and actually dreaded going to bed because of the town (Kamala) the hotel in located in. There is a mosque nearby. As is Islam tradition, there is a call to prayer called "Adhan", which traditionally is someone reciting a melodic call from a balcony. Unfortunately in this town, they used mega loud speakers that penetrate your sleep, keep you awake at the crack of dawn (5:30am) and repeat that 5 times a day. Since noise easily leaks through the windows and doors of the rooms here, there was no escaping it, it was obtrusive and stressful every night. We were physically run down and drained by the time we left after 4 nights. While the hotel is lovely, it's a shame to be located in an area that affects the quality of their guests stay.

Beautiful intimate hotel
Delighted with the quality of the rooms and the overall hotel. One of the best we have visited in Thailand or anywhere in the world. Very friendly and efficient staff and the whole operation is well run by the manager Phil

安逸的假期
很赞的bungalow，出门走几步就能到泳池。我们去的时候是淡季，整个度假村好像只有一两户人家，基本是我们两人独享泳池。走路到海滩大约5分钟时间，路上有超好吃的餐厅。老板和老板娘都超级nice，我们预定了去幻多奇的游览，接送都是老板娘亲自接送的。度假村里的饭店味道也很好，mango sticky rice真是我吃过的最好吃的泰国甜点。。。还养了一只可爱的兔子哈哈哈

Great place
Second time back at the Ambassador, this time in the off season to a much more sleepy (and humid) Kamala. As before the place was lovely, the food good and the staff friendly. Can't fault it, will probably be back when we need a week off again.

Fantastic stay
We booked this hotel for a wedding group, although actual wedding was held at another hotel. We were absolutely happy with our choice. The best part of everyone's stay at the hotel was their customer service. The manager, Phil, was super helpful, and very accommodating: they provided extra beds for one night for free, they would keep kitchen open past closing time for our guests, they would negotiate tour prices with companies and lower them for us, you name it. The breakfast quality wasn't great and coffee tasted a bit like burnt coffee, but dinner was very good. I definitely recommend this hotel considering the price and customer service they offered.

Relaxing hotel
Great hotel located off the main road in a quiet location. We had a two bed apartment which was great, had everything we needed. It was very relaxing poolside, like a little Oasis. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was fabulous!

Vi bodde i lägenhet på ca 70 kvm som innehöll alla facileteter man kan tänkas behöva. Stort rymligt sovrum med bekväm säng och förvaring. Rymligt kök/sällskapsrum med utgång till balkong. Det var skönt att sitta på balkongen på kvällarna eftersom det fläktade skönt. Det fanns AC i båda rummen. I trädgården ligger några bungalows runt poolerna. Väldigt lugnt då det inte är ett stort hotell. Mysig, mycket lugn och genuin atmosfär. Personalen gör verkligen hotellet. De är väldigt vänliga och hjälpsamma och möter alltid dig med ett leende. Ett extra plus var hotellets gratis transport till och från stranden. Fick en dag också transport till nästa strand Leam Singh strax norr om Kamala trots att detta inte ingick (ett måste att besöka). Förutom personalen så är restaurangen väl värt ett besök. Frukosten var utmärkt, likaså lunchen och middagen. Det är lite dyrare än andra restauranger i området men definitivt värt det. Vi åt många gånger här under vår vistelse och blev aldrig besvikna.

Great local resort!
My stay at Royal Embassy Resort & Spa was wonderful, I only wish I could have stayed longer! The staff were so helpful and accommodating. My room, the pool, and the restaurant area were charming - well kept, clean, and comfortable. The location is a 10-15 minute walk down to the beach, but they offer shuttle service during the day and can arrange a taxi for you in the evening to go to the beach or anywhere in the area. I would definitely stay here again, a great local resort!

Nice hotel very quiet. Meals superb.
Great rooms. Staff always ready to help us with smiles. We appreciate the two swimming pools, one with spa. We took most of meals in the hotel : food was excellent and tippicaly thaï. Beverages such as fruit juice with ice are good when weather is heat. Possibility of shuttle to go to the beach but it is easy to walk up to it. Most important trips can be reserved in the hôtel. We personnaly tried the elephant walk.

Hôtel très convivial
Séjour très agréable dans un hôtel au calme, où le personnel a toujours le sourire et cherche à vous rendre service. Toutes les commodités (commerces, plage, ...) sont proches de l'hôtel sans que vous en ayez les nuisances. Le service de voiturage permet d'organiser des visites à la carte. Un restaurant est sur place avec un très grand choix de plats locaux (plus de 100 possibilités) à de très bons prix. Les plats étant cuisinés selon la demande, il faut un peu de patience, mais cela en vaut la peine.
