Welkom bij Kulalani @ Mauna Lani! Dit resort is rijk aan prachtige stranden met gemakkelijke toegang om te zwemmen, snorkelen en duiken; straatpaden om te wandelen, hardlopen en fietsen; kalmerende tropische gebladerte om te ontspannen en het bouwen van speciale herinneringen met uw "ohana" (familie).

Het recreatiecentrum van Kulalani, inclusief een groot "ohana" -zwembad met spa en een kort banenzwembad met 3 banen - alleen voor volwassenen. Ontspan na het zwemmen door aan het zwembad te dineren. Een grote BBQ-grill en een kleine koelkast zijn beschikbaar.

Het fitnesscentrum van het Kulalani is uitgerust met een spa en aerobicsapparatuur, een selectie van gewicht / bestendige machines en losse gewichten.

The Shops @ Mauna Lani bieden winkels, restaurants en diverse evenementen. De Mauna Lani Auberge Collection (heropent in november 2019 na het voltooien van meer dan $ 100 miljoen aan renovaties) en The Fairmont Orchid woont in dit gebied. Een uitzonderlijk Makaiwa Bay-strand, met koele natuurlijke bronnen, is toegankelijk voor uw plezier.

Naupaka is een mooi herenhuis met 2 verdiepingen en airconditioning; volledig ingericht met een master en logeerkamer suites, ½ badkamer en 2 ruime overdekte veranda, een op elk niveau. De wrap-around 1e niveau Lanai heeft een ingebouwde gas-BBQ, bar spoelbak met kasten.

De master bedroom suite op het 2e niveau heeft een kingsize bed, een studeerkamer met een salontafel met verborgen bureaublad en een eigen afgelegen Lanai. Een suite met een 2e slaapkamer heeft een queensize bed en bevindt zich aan de andere kant van de gang. Er is overal voldoende opslagruimte met extra beddengoed en handdoeken.

Elektronica en entertainment omvatten: HDTV, dvd-speler, kabel, Netflix®, 200 Mbps internet, WiFi binnenshuis, onbeperkt landelijk bellen en meerdere USB / ac-oplaadpunten.

Veiligheidsuitrusting omvat: verbandtrommel, draagbare brandblusser, rook- en koolmonoxide detectoren.

Badkamers, keuken en wasruimte zijn volledig uitgerust met benodigdheden.

Beautiful condo

Lovely fully stocked condo and easy contact with property manager. Only downside was the adult pool and hot tub are undergoing renovation and unable to use. Also front gate to property is really hard to reach from car. Otherwise all good

Great rental!

The place was exactly as described on VRBO. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we need to cook our own meals. There were even a few spices available for our use - which is a bonus!There were plenty of beach equipment for our use. We really enjoyed using the golf cart to use around the resort area. The highlight of the place was the access to the beach club, tennis courts and gym! We will certainly look for this rental next time as it exceeded our expections.

Big island memories

I understand why this VRBO gets rated so highly- the house has everything you could need for the beach from chairs, snorkels, boogie boards and more, and the resort area had so much to offer. The Gem was the icing on the cake. Ralph was a perfect host - thoughtful and quick to respond to any questions.

Terrific Condo

My wife and I had a terrific week at this property to celebrate her birthday. The property was just as expected from the photos. The location was centrally located on the West side of the island so we could hit the resorts North of us or head towards Kona. It was also close to the new highway to take you to Hilo. The owner was easy to get in contact with and did a brief orientation when we first arrived over the phone.

Amazing - start to finish

I don't usually leave reviews, even though I travel quite a bit. But this place was spectacular. Super clean, well appointed, beach gear, bikes, electric car, pool passes, beach passes, well stocked kitchen appliances, tools, etc. Owners were kind and responsive and helpful. The complex is safe, quiet, close to the beach, grocery store, and a few shops.

Even better than the listing!

This place is perfect! My husband, 2 kids 11 & 13 and myself found everything we needed and then some, for an amazing week on the big island. My bro was competing in the Iron Man Competition in Kona so we came out from Maine. His family was staying down there closer to the race and as much as we’d like to be with them, it was so great to be out of the race madness and road closures. And it also served as a great place for his family to come visit us when they wanted to escape it. The house had everything we needed, boogie boards, a wagon for the beach to lug our stuff, beach/pool toys, a variety of sizes of snorkel fins and masks, coolers, bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas. The property has 2 great, clean pools for the days when we didnt want to go to the beach. The house also comes with an electric Gem Cart! This could not have been more fun and convenient! We took it all over the place. Down to the Foodland for a quick grocery run, out to the beach at the end of the road for sunset, to the other private BEAUTIFUL beach club for the mist amazing snorkeling experience. A ton of different restaurants. Ralph was so nice and responsive and helpful when we had questions or needed tips. We had an unexpected friend poop in to visit and there was a super convenient and comfortable blow up mattress for him to sleep on. If and when we come back to this island, we wouldn’t think to stay anywhere else. Thank you Ralph and Pricilla!!

A Perfect Week Away

This property offers everything you could want for the perfect vacation away from home. The condo is spotlessly clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed. The beds are awesome - I have never slept better. There are coolers, floats, boogie boards, snorkel gear, bikes -- everything you need for a fun day out. The owner helps make the stay comfortable and convenient. Ralph is so well organized you feel as if you have your very own concierge :-) He has awesome pre/during/post communication - and cares that your stay is the best it can be. Thank you, Ralph, for going above and beyond for your guests! The GEM cart made zipping around the property fun and easy. Everything is about 10 min away -- beach, tennis, grocery, hiking, golf. The HOA keeps things immaculate -- the pool, the gardens, the tennis facility, the beach, the restaurant and bar -- you never need to leave the property, and are surrounded by luxury at every turn. It feels like you are staying at a very high end country club. It was a really nice week for the family. I look forward to returning hopefully not too far in the future. :-)

Wonderful stay

We had a lovely time on the Kona side staying at Ralph and Priscilla's property. We rode the GEM cart almost every day to get around the resort and the Mauna Lani Beach Club was beautiful. The unit was very well stocked, and Ralph was very responsive and made sure that we had everything we needed.

All was as it was meant to be, and that is fantastic. A bit of a tropical storm hit us for a day, but it forced us to relax and slow down. A welcome and unplanned gift. Thank you Hawai’i ohana, you always provide us with the needed perspective.

Home away from home in paradise

Ralpha and Priscilla continue to be phenomenal hosts. This is our 2nd year staying in their place and unbelievably we had more fun than last year. The condo is very well appointed with everything you could need for your stay. I highly recommend this condo for anyone considering a stay on the Big Island.

Excellent condo in Mauna Lani resort

Ralph is the most organized and responsive VRBO host we've ever rented from. The condo itself is great - very clean, and very organized. Ralph has thought of everything. The beds and pillows were high quality and very comfortable. The towels and provided toiletries were great. The beach equipment was an added bonus - lots of kids snorkel equipment, boogie boards, pool noodles, beach umbrellas, and a wagon. There is 1 kid size life jacket which was nice to have for my younger snorkeler. The pool is shared with the Ka Milo development to the north but always had lots of chairs and shade. There is a lap pool, a hot tub and a fitness center there. Being able to use the Gem cart is reason enough to book - just a few minutes down the road to the Fairmont Orchid, a few minutes the other direction to the grocery store (be prepared for $7 milk and $10 bread), Tommy Bahama restaurant, and the Island Taproom had good IPAs. The Fairmont Orchid restaurant was underwhelming but we ate one night at Beach Tree at the Four Seasons Hualalai (30 min south) and it was fantastic. The Mauna Lani Beach Club is 5 minutes by cart and had the calmest water and best snorkeling in our time there. Plus beach chairs and a restaurant good for lunch. The neighborhood is very quiet and much more relaxed than Waikaloa to the south. Great for families. Overall this is a fantastic home base to explore the Big Island or just hang out in the resort areas along the Kohala cost. We will definitely be back!

It was amazing!

There were so many things to do! Having the cart to drive to the beaches was fantastic. The access to the resort parking was a huge perk! The house was beautiful and we had everything we needed for a great trip!
