Aloha - dat betekent hallo, vaarwel en liefde. Wanneer je aankomt op de eilanden in Mauna Lani, zul je denken aan Hallo! en liefde!, maar niet vaarwel!

Villa K1 at The Islands is verwant aan iets uit Beautiful Hawaii's Beautiful Homes. De inrichting is show-home elegant, maar toch perfect praktisch. De keuken is volledig ingericht met potten en pannen, bak- en serveerschalen (binnen en buiten), kleine apparaten en keukengerei die u zou willen hebben. Er zijn voldoende borden, kopjes en glazen, bestek en keukengerei voor 6 personen. Er is zorg voor gedragen dat alles wat de villa maakt zeer gebruiksvriendelijk is. Er is ook een prive-BBQ op uw Lanai.

De drie slaapkamers met eigen badkamer zijn ruim en luxueus. Elke kamer heeft een eigen Lanai met een adembenemend uitzicht op weelderige, kleurrijke gronden en in de verte North Kohala. De douches zijn ongelooflijk: zwarte leisteen muren en kiezels onder je voeten. Twee badjassen hangen in elke badkamer. U zult onder de indruk zijn van de full-size shampoo en conditioner, en bodywash in elke douche. De handdoeken voor strand, zwembad en bad zijn er in overvloed. Haardrogers in elke badkamer en een draagbare verlichte vergrootspiegel maken het klaarzetten van een briesje en minder om mee te nemen vanuit huis.

Je zult veel boeken vinden in het huis op eilandvogels, zeeleven, dieren in het wild, flora en fauna, waarvan er vele zich direct buiten je Lanai-deuren bevinden. Als u bekend bent met het leven op het eiland, kunt u anticiperen op vroege zonsopgang en vroege zonsondergang, wat bevorderlijk is voor volle dagen en u dan om 21.00 uur klaar voelen om naar bed te gaan!

Op een steenworp afstand van de villa, binnen de eilanden is er een groot zwembad in vrije vorm, compleet met een waterval, grot en bubbelbad. Het zwembad is voorzien van propaan-barbecues, een koelkast, eettafels, wasruimtes en veel ligstoelen en parasols.

Er is een prachtig zandstrand in de baai in de buurt. U kunt het bereiken in een wandeling van 15 minuten langs een prachtig geplaveid pad door een lavaveld en eeuwenoude visvijvers. Of u kunt 4 minuten rijden en parkeren in de beveiligde poorten. Met de strandtoegangskaart die u ter beschikking staat, bent u toegestaan om te parkeren en gebruik te maken van de ligstoelen en cabana's en volledig verzorgde wasruimtes. Dineer of lunch in Napu's Restaurant. Huur een paddle-board, snorkel of een outrigger-kano van Mauna Lani Sea Adventures.


Het Mauna Lani Resort biedt: golf, spa & fitness en tennis tegen redelijke prijzen. De Shoppes bij Mauna Lani bieden: supermarkt, coffeeshop, diverse restaurants waarvan Tommy Bahama een populaire is!

Fabulous property

We loved this place including the location and the added amenities such as the tennis centre. It is a short walk through the beautiful fish ponds to the beach and the pool was very quiet even though it was the busy holiday season. The set up with 3 master bedrooms was perfect for our family with adult children. We can't wait to go back.

A Piece of Paradise

This place lived up to its billing. We wanted a place where we could walk to the private beach. Beautiful walk took 15 - 17 minutes. I wanted private lanai's where we could sit outside. We ate outside and sat out there during the day. We wanted space. This place had plenty of it. It was clean. Kitchen was well stocked. Bathrooms were gorgeous. Hung out in the comfortable living room. Price was steep, but we had no complaints and would definitely return. We used the athletic facility as well. We hung out at the beach, used the chairs furnished as part of the townhouse. I highly recommend this townhouse. We definitely want to return.

Perfect condo

We’ve stayed in the Islands before, but preferred this condo because of the location - near the pool, farther from the road with a large grassy area in the back free from misplaced golf balls. We didn’t have young children with us, but this spot is perfect for those that do.

This beautiful property exceeded our expectations in every way, from the attention to detail within the house to the fantastic management team with their communication. Comfort +++ with the beds and furniture and the beautiful decor. All the extras in the kitchen, we could cook up a storm. Exceptionally clean! Just a ‘please shut the gate’ on the front gate would be brilliant to stop the goats eating the beautiful plants.

30th Anniversary Celebration

We really enjoyed this house. The neighborhood was quiet and clean. The house was exactly as the listing showed and very well equipped. The bedrooms are all equal and very comfortable. We had fun visiting the resorts nearby for dinner and golf but also cooked at the house in the well stocked kitchen.

Wonderful property in Mauna Lani area

This large, beautiful house/condo is in an excellent location on the Big Island. The setting is quiet, it is near a fantastic walking path, has access to a beach club with excellent snorkeling and is close to a shopping area with a good grocery store. The property manager was helpful and responsive and the house was well-equipped. My only complaint is that vehicles must be garaged and a remote garage door opener was not provided. Only one car fits in the garage so if a group has more than one, extra cars have to be parked outside the gated area (the equivalent of 2-3 blocks away).

This property is beautiful, the online photos don’t do it justice. Very comfortable for 5 adults and one child. The kitchen has everything you would need. We were very pleased with all the kitchen had stocked. Very impressive. the one area of improvement would be towels. Each bathroom has 3 small bath towels and there weren’t any extra, so we washed more frequently than we would’ve liked and we had to purchase our own laundry detergent. There are only six beach towels and they are small. But we would absolutely stay here again. We had a wonderful time. The walking trails are great! Proximity to grocery and shops:restaurants is very convenient. We had a lovely vacation!!

Best stocked vacation rental home we have experienced. Plenty of cleaning supplies, paper products, soaps, etc. Plus beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards to borrow. Beach is a 20min walk or 5 min drive. Be aware of Ironman Triathalon road closures during October.

Fabulous property and vacation!

We had a wonderful time at the K1 house in Mauna Lani. I have previously stayed at rental homes that looked great and had 5 star reviews but were not wonderful. This is not that place. It was exactly as described or better. They had everything you could need in the kitchen, and even little things made life so much easier (ie ziplock baggies, tin foil, laundry and dish detergent). We didn't have one complaint! Loved the chairs and beach stuff to use (wagon, umbrella, boogie boards). It was a fabulous location and the Mauna Lani beach club was so fun! We didn't even have to bring chairs there bc there were chairs available. And it was a great snorkel beach. I think we will just stay here from now on, it was perfect.

Wonderful and beautiful property. Prefect for an all adult/couple family vacation. Loved all the extras for the beach and in the kitchen/living spaces. My only complaint was the temperature of the bedroom on first floor stayed warm regardless of thermostat and after reporting.

The home is beautiful on all levels... furnishings, artwork and setting. The 3 ensuite layout was ideal for three couples. The location is walkable to the Mauna Lani Resort, which we did each morning for coffee and a walk on the beach. The property management company was terrific as well. Highly recommend, and look forward to staying again!

Absolutely loved this home—elegant, spacious, and even more beautiful than the pictures. Multiple outdoor spaces to sit and enjoy the beautiful lawn, trees, and wildlife out the back. Truly appreciated the ability to use the sand toys, chairs, umbrellas, etc available in the garage. We had everything we needed. Only warning—for gym users, the gym nearby is an additional $250 per person per week. We opted and enjoyed hiking and running. Loved our stay!

Lived up to expectations!

This place was awesome. Great yard for the kids and plenty of room for all 5 of us. Very kid friendly and the pool is right next door. Access to the private beach and super close to the market. We are staying next year for sure!
