Stunning
Ten days in a beautiful, sootless, spacious home with four master bedrooms and huge open living area and chef level kitchen. Steps away was the in ground heated pool and hot tub. Gates neighborhood on the Mauna Kea resort overlooking one of two golf courses on the property and incredible view of the Pacific Ocean. The sunsets are breathtaking.

Views for days!!
Highly recommend! We've lived and stayed in homes all over the Big Island and this is now officially our favorite. Amazing views, very smart layout/floor plan, very tasteful furnishings and art through out. In addition to the unit itself, it's in a great location to experience the best of Hapuna and Mauna Kea so you'd never leave. But if you want to, location provides easy access up to Waimea or down to Kona. Property Management company was also great to work with and made the stay seamless.

Awesome property all-around... Super modern, clean, well-stocked, and beautifully decorated. Definitely worth getting the "amenity" package with access to both resorts. Highly recommend this property!!

Stunning Stay
This property WOWed everyone in our party. The second we walked in and saw the ocean view just past the pool, we knew it would be a great week. We also LOVED the nighttime view of the stars. Debated whether to get resort access but thought the Mauna Kea beach was amazing (fish on one side and turtles on the other) and totally worth not having to bring down chairs and towels. Really loved this house.

Mauna Kea Privacy
We had a fabulous trip with 8 family members, including 2 grand-children. All 4 bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and excellent in every way. The large kitchen and dining areas were everything we could have asked for. The pool was a private luxury, along with the Mauna Kea resort access, it was the perfect family trip!

Family vacation on the Big island
This is a beautiful property with all the conveniences one would expect. It was well equipped, very clean and had gorgeous views to the west. It essentially has 2 identical sleeping wing easy for 2 families to share. We were only 4 adults and had plenty of room. Our family liked this side of the Mauna Kea resort better. The property is well located for access to the beach and the Westin resort. I would highly recommend.

Beautiful House in a Wonderful Resort
The house was beautiful and very well appointed. The pool was great to cool off in during the day and the heated spa was amazing to lounge in and look at the stars at night with great views of the ocean. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was great to cook family dinners in. We got the optional resort package and it was definitely worth it to hang out at the beach! There was also a small kitty that would come to the front door to be fed every day, which was a lot of fun and different from any other property. The house had a stock of food and instructions, which was great. Would definitely recommend and we are planning to come back in the future.

This property did not disappoint. The setting was perfect. Views of the sunset cannot be topped. The place was clean, full stocked kitchen, wonderful pool/spa, quiet and a must return!

My family have been coming to the Mauna Kea since 1968. This the first time we rented a home, the experience was wonderful. The property management team was always available and promptly responded to any questions or needs. I am ready book again for next year. This is a high end home with a great view and location

Amazing, can’t recommend more highly
This house is so much more amazing than the listing and pictures suggest. It is extremely high end inside and out. The view is jaw dropping. And having access to guest privledges at Mauna Kea and Hapuna Beach resorts (extra but we’ll worth the cost) made the vacation. The house is extremely well stocked in kitchen equipment, towels, toiletries, beach chairs and other pool/beach toys, everything you need except your food and clothes. This is a 12 out of 10 if I could give that. Management company — resortica Hawaii — was great too. The house was in great shape, communication was easy.

This house and property were amazing! The house is spacious, beautifully decorated and very clean! The view is just incredible. Was perfect for our family and friends given each of the four bedrooms had plenty of room and their own bathroom. Two master bedrooms with same incredible view. Kitchen was well appointed with everything you would need. Highly recommend this property!!

Ideal Hawaiian holiday
We could not have been more pleased with our stay here. The view is unbelievable, and the proximity to the beaches and hotel facilities while still being away from it all was ideal. The house really feels exactly how I would want to decorate my own home, and had everything you could possibly need. In short, we wish we could have stayed longer and will undoubtably be back. The property management company was incredibly efficient and nice and easy to work with.

Amazing
Just what we needed, a perfect getaway in this beautiful home. The pictures don’t do it justice. Fully stocked with anything you could imagine needing....access to Mauna Kea and Hapuna was a bonus, although we loved just hanging out by the pool enjoying some cocktails and the view. Our almost two year old loves it as well, the “wading” area of the pool was just perfect for him. We look forward to future visits!

Fabulous house, perfect vacation stay
The house closely matched the pictures. We loved the pool and hot tub especially. The bedrooms layout is designed for privacy, and the communal space is open, modern and very functional. We loved the outdoor table; ate all our meals there. Very well stocked kitchen; it could have had a few more staples. We'd love to come again!

Mauna Kea beauty
The house is really nice, very well equipped. Sound system is really easy to use. Outdoor sitting area and pool are great (pool is fairly small but has a great view). 4 nice bedrooms, the 2 master suites are really nice. The access to both Hapuna and Mauna Kea beaches and hotel facilities is worth the $125 pre day. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful in every way

Beautiful house and island
We enjoyed our stay very much. We took advantage of the two resorts nearby for some beach time. So nice to return to our home for the week at the end of each day with our private pool and hot tub. The pictures of the house and the view on line do not do it jistice. Go see for yourself. You will be very happy !

A fun, relaxing, and enjoyable vacation!
I'm a resident of Oahu, and the Big Island is my favorite to visit, with many varied activities available. On this stay, we visited Big Island Candies, snorkeled, did some horseback riding, took a kayak ride down some water flumes, and visited the Mauna Kea observatories visitor station to see an amazing amount of stars at night. The home is located on the Hapuna and Mauna Kea Resort property, so for an additional fee we could have signed on for things like golf, tennis, spa, fitness centers, and large pools (which we declined - we have those activities available on Oahu). At the end of the day, returning back to this beautiful and spacious home was a treat. Everything is new and in excellent condition, and it was easy to prepare meals in the well-equipped kitchen, with a pretty complete set of cooking utensils, pots, pans, and spices. The home also is set up with streaming music and the curved-screen TV has cable and is signed in to a Netflix guest account, so it was easy to find something to watch on a quiet night. We spent a week on the Big Island, even in the midst of the current eruption on the other side of the island. There were no complications due to this event. We read various assurances from scientists that the shield volcanoes in Hawaii are safe even during eruptive phases (aside from the locations adjacent to lava flows), and this home is about a hundred miles away from where the lava is currently flowing. Overall, a fantastic stay - we’ll gladly book this home when we’re in town again.

Fantastic house! Fantastic view!
Our extended family, ages 6 to 79, stayed in this home for 5 days. It was so wonderful that we had a hard time motivating ourselves to leave and experience the rest of the Big Island. The grandkids were in the pool every moment they were not at the beach. The home was well stocked with necessities, plus plenty of pots and pans, dishes, etc. to make eating in easy. It provided each of the individual families privacy if wanted. It is a beautiful, clean home. We highly recommend it!

Gorgeous villa
Had a wonderful 5-night stay at this villa. The owner has thought of everything and the layout is perfect. Large bedrooms, airy spacious common spaces and a state of the art kitchen. The pool is a perfect size and the hot tub is a welcome respite after a long day of sightseeing and sports. There’s even a friendly cat who comes around every evening. Lots of towels supplied and very nice toiletries in every ensuite bathroom. A very short drive to Mauna Kea Beach Resort and all the amenities includding 11 beautiful seaside tennis courts. Can’t wait to return!

Awesome property, wonderful home in which to enjoy your vacation in paradise!
We stayed in this 1 year old, lovely modern home and had a wonderful time. The property manager was available to answer any and all questions we had as well as any problems. The home is comfortable, as well as beautiful! We would stay here anytime we are on the Big Island! We loved the convenience to the golf courses and restaurants in the nearby resort hotels. We encourage anyone to stay here and enjoy the beautiful view which is closer to the ocean and more spectacular than it appears in the photographs!

What a great house, location, and we had a fantastic time.. This house is perfect for two families. The Amenity package with use of Hapuna Prince and the Mauna Kea combines wonderful accommodations with the great amenities these resorts offer including great golf, gyms, restaurants, bars, and of course one of the best beaches in the world... We have been to this area many times and we highly recommend this place.. Cheers to the owners for sharing such a great house..
