What an absolutely fantastic group! They were so kind, personable, appreciative and went above and beyond to make themselves welcome visitors. I had a delightful conversation with Amory and her father during their stay; they are such fun and I was able to witness their enjoyment of life and one another spilling over into their enjoyment of your surroundings and adventures! I hope that you, too, have the chance to host these wonderful people!

It was a memorable and very pleasurable experience hosting these active, yet laidback guests! They were the picture of outgoing, appreciative and genuine. They were a perfect fit for our home and it was so enjoyable visiting with them about hiking, sustainable gardening, hearing about their lives and adventures, and even exchanging notes about bird sightings on the property! We can't say enough good things about these fabulous folks :)

The person who booked this stay was quite nice. He confirmed with us before we even approved his inquiry that the house rules and the fact that we live on site were not a problem. It is very important to us that our guests are well prepared and delighted with their stay, so we make sure that our house rules, including our no-pets policy and the fact that we live on site, is easily understood from our listing, our response to inquiries and our welcome message. The person who left this review was not the same person who made the reservation. When she arrived, she had an unfriendly, abrasive demeanor. She would not be welcome back, based on her rudeness and her readiness to leave an inappropriately low review instead of influencing the family to stay somewhere else more suitable to her demands.

This family was warm, friendly and treated us as though we belonged! We really appreciate that kind of attitude! Plus it made us so happy to see them all, from grandkids to grandparents and every age in between, having a good time and making themselves at home!
