'Good place to stay when there is no (affordable) accommodation available in Kanazawa. Kanazawa is easily accessible from the JR Matto station (2 minutes walk from the hotel). Other than that it's a hotel. Huge and not a very pretty building. But for us it's a place to sleep. The room van decent and clean. We stayed here with 2 adults and a baby. '

'What a great time we had at Kanazawa Chaya. My family of 5 stayed here for three nights half-board following our stay in Tokyo. This place is out of the world. I cannot describe how attentive the staff are at this Ryokan hotel.
