Beautiful room with little noisy AC
Heerlijk hotel met kamer die aan de kleine kant is. Fantastisch zwembad en geweldig ontbijt met continentale en Aziatische opties, verse sappen, kazen, gerookte zalm, ... Fijne gym faciliteiten. Heel comfortabel bed met lekker geurende lakens. Jammer van de vrij luide airconditioning.

Top hotel
Uincantree Een prachtig klein resort met heerlijke kamer. Prima badkamer met stortdouche. Maar 1 ding op aan te merken, het licht in de kamer zou beter moeten, maar een kniesoor die daar op afknapt. Erg vriendelijk behulpzaam personeel, heerlijk klein zwembad, en een waanzinnig goed ontbijtbuffet, met Thais en Europese keuzes. En dan het uitzicht: fenomenaal. Je zit in de bocht van de rivier met uitzicht op de bridge on the river kwai. Onze wifi weigerde op de kamer maar bij het restaurant prima. Dus mail even daar doen. Komen hier zeker terug.

Perfecte uitval basis voor Kanchanaburi en omgeving. Grote kamer, uitstekend ontbijt, perfecte ligging. Wij hadden wel onze eigen auto en dat is in dit gebied ook wel erg handig.

Hotel dat zijn beste tijd gehad heeft. Kamersruim maar oudbollig. Bad kamer ook vatbaar voor vernieuwing. Ontbijt ruime keuze maar meestal niet meer warm.

Tweede maal in twee jaar hier verbleven. Deze keer veel minder aangenaam hoofdzakelijk door het grote aantal vliegen in het restaurant peppers aan de rivier.

Ideaal om te relaxen
We hebben de Suite kamer. Stel je alvast niet teveel voor met zicht op de rivier. Die zie je zo goed als niet. Ook het terras is maar pover en kan beter. Maar de rest van de kamer is perfect. Op minder dan 5 minuten wandelen ben je aan de bekende brug. Daar kan je eventueel een taxi nemen om verderop iets te gaan drinken bij diverse bars. Indien je zelfs niet wenst te wandelen dan zorgt het hotel voor een taxi die daar meestal binnen de 10 minuten staat. Kwestie van ligging is dit dus geen probleem. Overal kan je wel een tour boeken. We dachten het eens te doen bij dit Hotel. We boekte een rondgang naar de Erawan watervallen vervolgens naar de Krasae Cave en een treinrit richting hotel terug. Alles betaald bij het hotel. Wat bleek echter...Er kwamen nog diverse kosten bij. De taxi chauffeur zijn parkeerplaats en de inkom bij de watervallen moet je nog extra betalen. Het is misschien allemaal zoveel niet. Maar in het hotel hebben ze niets hiervan gezegd. Sterker nog, de taxi chauffeur wou ons al meteen terugbrengen naar het hotel na die watervallen. Uiteindelijk is het allemaal goed gekomen maar dit kon beter! Die 'ongemakkelijke' dienstverlening merkte je steeds op. De schoonmaakdienst die komt vragen of ze al mogen beginnen terwijl je je nog aan het opmaken bent. Aan het ontbijt meteen je kamernummer vragen maar voor de koffie moet je hen nogmaals terugroepen,... Kortom mooi hotel, goede ligging, ideaal om te relaxen maar dienstverlening kan iets beter.

Geweldig verblijf, kamers niet al te groot maar prima want wat heb je verder nodig, alles was aanwezig. Ontbijt super met een prachtig uitzicht over de rivier. Omgeving goed, leuk om een scootertje te huren en zelf op pad te gaan. Staff is aller aardigst. Al om al een hotel om aan te raden en zeker naar terug te gaan!!

Het geld waard
Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel, mooi uitzicht en een goed restaurant. De kamers zijn prachtig maar wel aan de kleine kant. Goeie douche waar veel druk op zit (dat is nog al eens lastig te vinden in Thailand). Het enige minpunt is dat je vanaf de weg vrij toegang hebt om naar de kamers te lopen. Dit gaf mij vooral snachts een erg onveilig gevoel.

Goed en net complex (lijkt nog maar net open?!) ontbijt was prima voor elkaar en ook kamers prima! Je zit net iets buiten de straat waar het in Kan om draait, maar de gratis fietsen maakt dat ruimschoots goed!

Goed hotel, fraaie ligging.
Goed hotel. Vrij kleine, weliswaar complete kamer. De ligging/het uitzicht is fantastisch aan de river Kwai, met zicht op de bekende brug. In de plaats zelf is vrijwel niets te doen. Binnen het uur rijden zijn er wel bezienswaardigheden. Het eigen restaurant is goed, maar het is er erg rustig, dus niet zo gezellig, misschien komt dat omdat je er vrij veel last van vliegjes hebt.

5 minuten lopen van de brug
uitstekende hotel met fantastische service en restaurant en op slechts 5 minuten lopen van de bekende brug. Zwembad is alleen een poedelbadje maar voldoende om even af te koelen. Het stationnetje bij de brug is ook ideaal om op te stappen en met de trein over de brug te rijden.

Ich verstehe nicht, wieso es für diese Unterkunft teilweise schlechte Bewertungen gibt. Uns hat es gefallen. Die Zimmer (Superior) sind sehr groß, das Badezimmer riesig. Frühstück war auch o.k. Die Lage ist Top, direkter Blick auf die Brück am Kwai, ruhig etwas abseits gelegen, doch in Fußweite zur Brücke (ca. 300 Meter zum Gehen).

River Kwai marvel.
With an amazing location, minutes from the “River Kwai” station, on the high bank of the river, this hotel has been built to respect some ancient trees and with careful attention to feng shui throughout. In addition the food was excellent and the wine list showed a good appreciation, although most of the reds should be cellared for a few more years. Overall, a tremendous stay and there is much more to see and to do in and around Kanchanaburi than we realized, so we’ll be back.

The river views are amazing from this hotel. It was our 4th stay here. The breakfast buffet is terrific and the restaurant food very tasty. The newer rooms at the back of the property are larger and definitely worth paying the bit extra for.

가성비 좋은 태국풍 호텔
분위기, 풍광, 서비스, 음식, 청결도 모두 좋다. 방이 조금 좁은 것 같지만 나머지 조건을 생각하면 감수할만 하다. 다만 샤워할 때 온도가 제멋대로 오르내린다는 점은 아쉬웠다.

Very nice place 👍
We stayed in this beautiful and cosy hotel for 3 nights in May 2023. We received a very friendly welcome at the reception. The staff is generally very friendly and attentive. The breakfast is very extensive and good. In the evening it is very cosy and the food is very fine. Great atmosphere by the river. From the restaurant and terrace bar you have a view of the River Kwai bridge. We can highly recommend the hotel and would go there again.

Beautiful setting by the river. Grab a drink & watch the sun go down stunning. Staff friendly & efficient. Had a problem with our room were moved to a new one straight away. Food great. All in all excellent value. Would recommend without hesitation.👍
