Historisch huis op de Avenue

Het Bates East House werd gebouwd in 1900 op het hoogtepunt van uitbreiding en weelde in Hyde Park in Kansas City. Partners Seft en William hebben dit huis in 2018 verworven en een restauratie voltooid. Het huis is nu ongeveer 1750 vierkante voet naar huis met 4 slaapkamers en 2 volledige baden en half bad. Het is gelegen nabij Seft en William's Ten6Teen Mansion. Als u extra kamers of huizen nodig heeft, kunt u William dit melden. We hebben andere accommodaties in de buurt.

The home was well stocked, nice beds and linens, towels. Bedrooms super nice. The lay out could be tough for some. Top floor very steep stairs and the second full bath is upstairs. Great coffee shop. Oddly perfect was fabulous. Close to the plaza and art museums. On Troost street which doesn't feel in a neighborhood but bedrooms all had fans to block out any noise. Overall loved our stay. Would recommend.

Well liked overall

We enjoyed our stay! The driveway can fit 3 cars comfortably, and the backyard is shared with the other Vrbo property. Getting in was a little tricky but once you master the quirks of the door lock you shouldnโ€™t have problems. The living room could use an additional love seat, this is a large house and can accommodate many guests. It would have been nice to have an additional comfortable seat or two for the living room space. The first floor half bath is tiny, but good! The 2nd level is perfect except the back bedroom could use a ceiling fan or its own AC unit as itโ€™s hard for airflow to get back there to cool it. The 3rd floor is beautiful but needs mountain climbing gear to get up there! No, Iโ€™m joking, but the stairs steep. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will be back.

Good house for extended family

Very clean and well organized, excellent communication with host. Bathrooms and kitchen great, clean and neat the neighborhood is up and coming - craftsmen homes beautifully renovated and some a little run down. Very close to city ! Great coffee shop up the street.

Senior Ladies Weekend in KC

The home was clean and spacious, kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with glassware, toilet tissue, etc. Stairs to top floor are very steep. The property is not within walking distance to CCP as stated in the ad, and the neighborhood is less than desirable.

Great stay for a Monday Night Chiefs game.

Great sleeping accommodations, clean house and spacious back yard. Not too far from some great restaurants and conveniently close to the stadium where you can avoid a lot of traffic. Owner is very responsive and had great communication.

Great home not great neighborhood

The house itself was very clean, very spacious, very stocked & everything easy check in! Everything with house was great! The back yard was not private, you share it with the neighbor house which wasnโ€™t comforting. The neighbor was an VRBO as well and there was tons of fighting and cops had to be called. The host owns both houses for VRBO. The owner/host said the drive way was ours for parking but the neighbor trapped our cars in & the owner asked us to go over and ask them to move car while we were very uncomfortable doing so. Will not be staying again for young females/bachelorette due to neighbor hood

Family Stay

It was a very comfortable stay! There was enough room for all of us and everything was set up very well. I would suggest adding that the king bed is on the 3rd floor with very very steep stairs. Communication with the owner was always prompt and very clear. All the bedding was clean and very comfortable. It was a total of 13 people that stayed at the house, including 5 children, and we never felt cramped. Would definitely recommend for larger groups.its also within walking distance of the KC Forehouse which is where my BIL got married. Thank you for your hospitality!!

Fantastic location & property

Our extended family was in town for the weekend for a wedding in downtown KC. This house was conveniently located near the Country Club Plaza and downtown. The home itself was well maintained and nicely decorated with several thoughtful details, like coffee, cold water in the refrigerator, and throw blankets in all rooms. The host was extremely responsive. 5 stars all the way around!!
