'We drove our car there at night, the road was wiggly & dark ( no lights other than the car lights). For us it was a little nerve racking. The view was pretty in the morning. The room looked nice and clean, but the fridge was uncleaned, Staff were nice and welcoming. In the room description it said the mattress is Tempur-pedic, but that definitely wasn’t!. In the room descriptions it said we would get a bottle of sparkling wine, but we didn’t get that either. I opened the drawers under the bed...

'Mooi net hotel met net appartement met erg kleine badkamer. Alleen hadden wij een appartement zonder zicht, we keken uit op hele grote haag dus was het niet aangenaam om er te zitten. Het zwembad was net maar erg koud. Het ontbijt was klein maar wel lekker, voor vers fruitsap diende je bij te betalen maar is een aanrader.'

'Really enjoyed our stay both in Paleochora and Blue Horizon. Very friendly and helpful personnel. The terrace (where one can also get breakfast) provides fantastic sunset views. The bed is very comfortable and the room is well -equipped. Great location right by the well- organized beach (hotel stay includes the use of comfy beach beds). We had a problem with sewage smell which we reported and staff followed up swiftly to try to resolve the issue. '

'Modest accomodations, but with all amenities, like shower, balcony, AC and a fridge in addition. There was no TV but who needs that with the beach only an arms length away...Room was clean, atmosphere friendly and informal, manager very helpful. The manager even drove me to the bus station when I thought I'd miss the bus. I had one of the most relaxing vacations ever for the lowest price ever. And I fell in love with Greece.'

'When booked the hotel was described as a “resort” which is why we planned the detour to its location. Upon arrival there was no staff to welcome us - a text to the number on the locked door was quickly returned with a lock box code to grant us enterance to our studio apartment. The advertised laundry facilities were not available for use, the swimming pool while open was in great need of maintenance or filtering ( both) and as such was not an attractive option for the afternoon. The restaurant...

'It was excellent, maybe a little tight for 4 adults , but nothing to complain.'

'Lovely and kind hosts, a beautiful and spacious studio with a private kitchen and balcony, super clean and serviced daily! Large refrigerator with bottled water and a freezer. Great for the warm weather. Very good and quiet air conditioning in the room. In the upstairs hallway for hotel guests, fresh coffee, cake, and fresh fruit are freely available!'

'Mooi gerenoveerd hotel met goede restaurants nabij.'

'I stayed at this hotel for 4 days and had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent—staff were friendly, helpful, and always attentive. The hotel and room were spotless, very clean and comfortable. The facilities were great, and the spa service was also very good. I especially appreciated the multiple swimming pools with plenty of space to relax and enjoy. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.'

'We travel a reasonable amount and we just say this was one of the most unique and enjoyable rooms we have ever stayed in. Every single detail of the room is impeccable. The original distressed stained coffered ceilings, the wall murals, the furniture, the bathrooms, the configuration. As real estate owners we could even appreciate the level of detail in the electrical and plumbing. The patio was not huge but it was very adequate and provided an immersive feeling in the whole Hania Old Port vibe....

'SO friendly. Helped with finding us drivers, Laundry dining and just overall helping us explore the area. We will stay here again!'

'Highly recommend staying at Alcanea. Eva, our host, was incredibly helpful and friendly. The staff/service was great. And the complimentary breakfast offered lots of local options and all were delicious. Best part of this stay was the view and location. The view of the port was awesome with the water, local bars/shops, and mountains in the distance. And there were dozens of restaurants and shops offering all we might need/want. This hotel made Chania feel like home.'

'We had a wonderful stay at Moyà Signature Apartment in Chania. The apartment was modern, spotlessly clean, and beautifully presented. Everything was well maintained and comfortable, making it feel like a home away from home. The host was incredibly helpful, friendly, and always available to answer any questions or offer recommendations. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chania'

'Mooi hotel met vriendelijk personeel op zeer goede lokatie, stadje en strand op 5min.wandelen.Voor ons was het ontbijt wat minder, start pas om 7h30 wat laat is als je uitstap hebt gepland, alles wordt op voorhand gemaakt en opgewarmd zoals eitjes.Er is ook niet veel variatie, was voor ons een minpunt.'

'Had a lovely stay. Staff was very helpful and informative'
