GOED : het volledige complex was prima verzorgd, personeel ZEER attentvol . dit is werkelijk meer dan zijn geld waard . Groot voordeel : men kan er snorkelen vanop het strand , welliswaar met een +/-dood coraal maar toch een grote variëteit aan kleurrijke vissen . Logeren in een waterbungalow is de max. MiniMinpunt: De prijs voor het transport van de luchthaven naar het resort is nogal aan de dure kant

A Dream Destination~ lovely Watervila room 804
I stayed in a watervila last week, it was amazing as the room boy surprised me with flowers on the bed. I took the Half board which was enough for me as I ordered room service for lunch, it was good quality a quick delivery. The price of the speedboat was a bit expensive and the staff put me In an early speedboat to return to the airport while my flight was 3 hours later , that was the only downside. Pasta point has nice surfboard rentals, with nice staff who helped me to stand up on the paddleboard. I would love to come back here soon. Keep up to good work

Schitterend gelegen resort, met mooie watervillas en bungalows. Het eten is er fantastisch en de service is er goed. Kortom , het ziet er uit als van een foto uit een reisfolder Het is wel prijzig .maar dan heb je ook wat. Prijs transfer met de speedboot was apart 20 minuten onderweg is veel te duur

I’ve traveled to several different countries as a solo traveler, and I had higher expectations for Maldives. The service was decent. Some of the excursions were a little overpriced. There was a dirty mop smell near entrance where the mini bar was located. I thought housekeeping would have done something about the smell considering it was very strong. The chef at Tex Mex during the morning shift makes great food according to the menu. When I went back in the evening on my last day to purchase the same meal, the Nachos were completely different from what I had in the morning and it was difficult for me to finish the food (didn’t want to waste it). I did inform two staff members at the restaurant and the waiter asked if I wanted another one and I told her it would still come out the same because of the chef who’s cooking the meal. So all in all I paid for a meal I didn’t enjoy. This was the case for the items in the mini freezer, when I arrived I was told that the drinks in the freezer were complementary. When I went to grab a drink that turned out to be alcohol, I took a sip and it wasn’t good so I disposed the rest of the drink and I told the housekeeper this and I was still charged. In that same freezer I found something that appeared to look like mold on two of the alcohol bottles, and that could have contributed to the dirty mop smell I smelled around that area. I wasn’t aware that I was suppose to get VIP amenities during my stay, it sure didn’t feel like a VIP stay.

Very relaxing. Most staff very nice and accommodating. A few weren’t as friendly. I also noticed they allow garbage to float in the ocean around the shore, which bothered me, but apparently not them. Styrofoam, glass, plastic, wrappers, chips containers, etc. also looked like sewage leaking into water big time along one side of beach. Room also wasn’t too clean and had a lot of bugs. Bedding also smelled a little like previous guests sweat. But what to expect when it’s an island?! Food was amazing! All you could want and more. Very relaxing vibe overall. Thankful there was no loud, blaring music or rowdiness. Felt safe and comfortable. Would recommend!

The whole All-Inclusive experience was incomparable! The Resort location and the Cinnamon staff were both perfect, I had an incredible time! Nasa at Reception helped arrange transport for me to Malé, so I could get the city experience in Maldives, as well as the Island. As an older adult with knee surgeries, I found the sand pathways to be tricky. There were not many lights so I could not find my way safely to dinner (dark early in January). The boardwalk to my restaurant was under repair. Staff generally excellent, but a few common courtesies were missed here and there. One young man did retrieve my hat which blew off during a wind storm, so I was grateful to him! Spa staff also outstanding -- especially Ita.

Don't know how to explain and describe this trip. Everything was amazing. We had a shower situation on the first day, and they came to help in 30 minutes. I will definitely come back. A big thank you to the staff at the restaurant.... we will miss you!

From beginning to end, the property makes sure they give you 5 star service! They had a boat waiting for us and a man that took our bags all the way inside the airport when we was leaving. Lyn was an amazing hostess.The food was incredible. The chef really took his time to customize how we liked our food, like our pastas. Also it was all you can eat buffet style, if you get the All inclusive package, which I highly recommend. The bartenders all make fantastic drinks and keep the vibe going. The dinning staff like Sonia and Ibrahim made sure all your needs were met. The pool attendant made cute flower gifts for me at the pool everyday. Also the cleaning man did a beautiful honeymoon display on our bed. The staff is what makes the resort unique. They genuinely want you to have a good time. The water bungalow suite was amazing. The suite was by the reef so you can see tons of fishes, sharks and sting rays. The room had a spa tub and shower to die for. Overall just an amazing resort!

I would like to thank the staff at Cinnamon Dhonveli for such an amazing experience! My wife and I had a great time! We would like to thank our server Lassan by the Water Suite Restaurant for his warmth and hospitality. We would also like to thank Katte and Koka from the Dive and Sail. They were super experienced during our Jet Ski tour. My wife had never snorkeled in her life and Koka was very professional and experienced in showing her a great underwater experience. Katte was amazing as a guide and we got to see Dolphins during our tour which was mind blowing! Our Water Suite was a mesmerizing experience. The room was clean and comfortable. Superior ocean view room was modern and more spacious than expected. Managed to see dolphins swimming nearby on some mornings. Staff were very helpful. Resort is overall well maintained. Snorkelling on the beach lagoon was amazing - many variety of fish were seen.

Maldivian Paradise
We just finished our 13 day holiday in the Maldives and our stay at Cinnamon Dhonveli was definitely a highlight. We loved all the little details at Cinnamon and the staff was super friendly while making sure you have a 5 star experience. They had a really good local band one night and it was so much fun ! We loved that they seem to cater to every type of traveler. Akila at the surf bar and Niyaz our waiter were amazing and made us feel at home. The dive shop took us to see Mantas! Overall amazing experience we will definitely come back to Cinnamon Dhonveli next time we are in this part of the world.

The resort was nice and wasn't packed as I expected. We were upgraded to a bungalow suite on our first night, then back to a regular bungalow after. The suite was so nice and clean. All in all it was a great resort. Food wasn't that good though. Meats were all over cooked and buffet style. Cheaper to order room service and better ala carte options. Staff were nice, but English is limited. Bring ketchup packets if you don't like banana ketchup (or they call it tomato sauce).

Relaxing and peaceful Dhonveli!
This resort is extremely well-managed. You never feel crowded, it's clean, rooms and beds are very comfortable. Although there were children, chalets are far enough apart, that there was never any noise or disturbance. Also the food was very good and guests were comfortably spaced. Special events were so kindly prepared and no detail was forgotten. Will come again, thank you Dhonveli Team!

Excellent Stay!
I highly recommend Cinnamon Dhonveli and would definitely stay there again! Communication with the hotel about the boat transfer was very good. I rented a superior room, which was very sizeable, modern, and clean. It even had a balcony over the small beach. The beach was lovely, and it was great to be able to snorkel and see all kinds of fish right off the main beach. The beach bar was excellently attended by Rafiqul. The buffet was pretty good. I found the stir fry stations (Siri was great!), and the more local food (e.g. fish, dhal, curries, etc.) to consistently be the best options. The Sunset Bar and Pasta Point Bars had gorgeous views of the sunset. All the servers were top notch, especially Geena, Dilshan, Dileepa, and a few others I am forgetting (Usi? at the Pasta Point Bar). The entertainment was quite fun and a great way to meet other guests. The DJ was great! Hussein and the lady who helped at reception (name started with "Dh," but I have sadly forgotten to write it down) were excellent at assisting in all of my questions. The turtle scuba and spa (stress relief massage) were also excellent! Tips: Bring you own snorkel gear. I found the best time to snorkel off the beach was right after breakfast. Reserve beach/pool chairs early. People tended to leave towels and a personal item to show the chair was reserved.

It was truly a dream vacation! We stayed in an over water bungalow and spent most of our time in our room/ on our deck. We snorkeled from the room & I'm glad I read a review before going because we brought water shoes (I have Teva sandals that worked perfectly). The whole island is made up of coral so I highly recommend you bring something for your feet! There is sandy parts of the beach if you don't but if you want to explore the water a bit more shoes for sure. We surfed & went jet sking as our activities. The staff at both places were wonderful. Our waiter at the restaurant was always so nice & helpful. Honestly, it was the best. Definitely go here!

This place has everything you need for a nice relaxing vacation. I stayed at the property for 6 days and felt like the amount of time was just enough to enjoy everything without getting bored at any point. Me and my wife stayed in the overwater bungalows which was nice. After my first night there was no hot water but I was fine with that being that it's very hot over there. I will say the only thing that was not my favorite was the food. Good variety and options, but if i had to rate. Breakfast 5/10 Lunch 6/10 Dinner 7/10 Also, the one thing i can definitely say I did not like was the "snacks" which are available during the hours in between meals. The snacks had close to no options, were mostly fruits and we're not great. I basically ignored snacks during my stay. Now a few people that stood out to me during my experience was Rafiqul at the beach bar, Haroon who'm would clean the rooms and our server Mohamad at the restaurant for the overwater bungalows and lastly Jannah at check in and check out. they were all great. All in all after bargain hunting as much as I could at the time, I feel I got what I paid for. I would overall give this place a 8/10.
