'Small family-owned inn located in center of Civitella in Val di Chiana. Room was comfortable and included all we needed. It was cold upon check-in which the co-owner tried to remedy with a space heater. It took a while. The room warmed up after the first night. The other co-owner kindly offered me our first night complimentary. (Thank you again.). 'Als de voordeur door andere bezoekers aan de buitenkant wordt gesloten kunnen de andere gasten niet meer naar buiten. De deur kan niet van het slot gehaald worden aan de binnenkant. En er is maar een stoel op de kamer.'

'Nice place where you can really relax! The 3,5 km bumpy road takes you to "the middle of nowhere" to find a very nice and very well kept estate with a great view of the hills around. There are 2 nice swimming pools and a restaurant with good and honest Tuscan food. The people are very nice and take care of all your needs. Wonderfull place to spend a week!'

'We had an excellent week at Il Querciolo. It is an ideal location for a base to explore Tuscany with Arezzo, Siena and Florence all within easy reach. If you prefer quieter smaller towns, there are plenty to choose from, such as Cortona, Monte San Savino, Gargonza, Lucignano, Castiglion Fiorentino - all close by. Cesare and family were amazing hosts and provided a warm welcome and plenty of suggestions of places to visit. They also produce some amazing wine, which you have to try when you stay....

Arezzo is an undiscovered town without the crowds of many tourists. The location of this B&B is perfect everything g is walkable, and there is so much to discover outside and around Arezzo. The host was very helpful in explaining that parking was available outside of the city and in explaining the ZTL zone. The breakfast was outstanding! 'Let's start with the pros: This property is a ~5 minute walk from the Arezzo train station, so it is potentially very convenient to use if you are visiting other towns by train each day. The place was adequately cleaned and maintained, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. As mentioned by others, the AC worked well in our unit, even though it blew directly on our faces as we slept (not comfortable). Breakfast was ok considering the price, and they had some light kitchen facilities...
