'The staff is amazing, the room was very nice. Great location on a 5 minute walk from the airport. Great food and nice bar. The only think i did not like was the smell of sigarettes/sigars on the 4th floor.( the hallway). I told the staff about this but i smelled it al the three days....i think the smell is in the carpet or the wall or something but they should look into that for the future. Overall great stay ,nice people, good food and great location. '

'Heerlijk geslapen op de comfortabele bedden. Waren vroeger en konden toch al onze kamer in, heel fijn! Geen geluid van buiten te horen en goed werkende airco.
Iets minder is dat het allemaal wat gedateerd is maar daar is de prijs ook wel naar. Pendelbus naar hotel is 4 pond per volwassene per keer. Zonder auto wordt snel duur als je er meerdere keren gebruik van wil maken. Het is maar een paar minuten rijde. '

'Everything is amazing, the hotel, the staff, the room, the bathroom, the garden and terrasses and the kitchen. I have written so many bad reviews, that I had to write this one for a change. I will be back! There is only one downside though, there are a lot of low flying planes passing during the day.'

'The Pub was a grade 2 listed building which was a 1700 era the best way to describe it is Quirky! . The internal pub area was full of history and upstairs the rooms fixtures and fitting new with the decoration being fresh but sympathetic to the age of the building. the food was good Pub Grub and the cooked breakfast was great Full English or Full Scottish Both filling and well cooked, served piping hot! Lovely outside area and caters for Dogs. '

Hoewel ik om 3:00 uur 's nachts al weer moest opstaan ivm een vroege vlucht zorgde Marek dat ik uitgebreid kon ontbijten en regelde hij een taxi naar de luchthaven (<5 minuten rijden). De kamer was netjes en voorzien van een prima bed, TV en ruime badkamer met douche en toilet. Tevens was er een waterkoker om thee/koffie te zetten en was er een bureau om aan te werken. 'Arrived at guest house to find a note in the door. Called the number and was told to just go in, however the door handle was broken. They said they would come round. We were left standing outside in the rain for twenty mins before Someone opened the door (from inside - so they were there all along?!?).
Room was dull, not the cleanest but it did the job. Won’t be booking here again though'

"For the Beyonce concerts in June I went to this hotel. The room was really nice. The beds was really comfy and I liked the window seat. I had a pleasant stay and it was easy travelling to the hotspurs stadium as well as london city and LCY airport. Staff was nice and very friendly too."

"Vriendelijk personeel, probeerde alles op te lossen. De douche liep niet weg. Gelijk een monteur gestuurd om de put schoon te maken. Dit kwam door slecht onderhoud. De kamer was groot en schoon. Schoonmaak kon dagelijks op aanvraag. 1 keer liep het fout en was de kamer niet schoongemaakt bij terug komst s'avonds.Veel excuses en gelijk schone handdoeken aangeboden en prullenbakken geleegd. Baggage opslag goed en veilig met bonnetjes. Ontbijt was matig veel keus maar niet bijzonder. Voor een 3 ster hotel wel goed en aan te bevelen. DLR en bus halte voor de deur."
"Het was een aangenaam verblijf voor een paar dagen London. We hebben het hotel vooral geboekt om te slapen, en daar is het perfect voor. De kamer is heel klein, maar superschoon en comfortabel. Heerlijke warme douche en grote handdoeken.

The reservation had been made and payment was to be made at the hotel. After a stressful journey, the family arrived at the hotel. Check in and rested briefly in the room, before they were to see London for the first time. However, no key before payment was in order. Fine, however, their bank cards would not work, the receptionist informed them. "You guys should just contact your bank"
They did this and their bank assured them that everything was fine with the credit and debit cards and that no payment had been attempted from a Marriott in the UK. Strange.
The receptionist then forced them to withdraw money from the ATM in the lobby, which, due to a very bad exchange rate, made them pay €200 more for 3 hotel nights than stated on the booking confirmation. And they pull this trick on as many guests as possible. Without any excuse or compensation. So think carefully before booking this hotel! And if you do, don't be fooled.
