'We stayed in one of the jr suites (other rooms looked much more simple, so be aware of that) which was modern, spacious and had a nice view of the ocean and sunset in the evening. We really enjoyed our stay at Assano and appreciated the friendly staff. It was a plus that the restaurant served good food and that we could reserve sunbeds on the beach at no extra charge and that the Hotel provided towels. We would recommend this hotel! '

Guest relations are brilliant at helping with taxi reservations, horse riding bookings to recommending places to eat in the 2 two towns a 15 mins away by taxi either side of the hotel.
Hotel and area is very quiet.
Would recommend car hire as there are only 2 walkable tavernas nearby one 5 mins and one about 15 mins away for a change of scenery.

building sits on a very very large plot that has everything from shower to bbq, sitting area, playground, well lit parking etc. for families looking to save money, grill and hang out area are great. there is also a beach on walk distance.
rooms - as expected in this price range, four beds are crammed into a small space, but that's what I expected. the good thing is that the fridge was not intrusive to my sleep. usually, they are. AC also was not loud.'

'The manager was very friendly. He contacted us before our arrival and arranged all the formalities remotely. The keys were waiting for us in the door lock. The car was parked right nearest the window. The hotel is located almost in the center of the city, with many restaurants and beaches within walking distance. We had a small dog with us, but it didn't cause any problems.'

'Pics are deceiving… the pool was closed at 6 pm, not 7 as they say. The beach is accessible through a steep hill (no stairs) and the elderly will barely make it. Resort needs more renovations. Nothing but small towns/villages around, no walking paths. You’re pretty much locked in the hotel. Food was good but the choice was limited like in Cuban hotels. No evening entertainment programs. Maybe I’m spoiled by Dominican resorts… however I’ve been to all inclusive properties, I can compare, and this...

"The room being connected to the pool was quite nice. The room was cleaned well and daily. However, there was a sewer smell coming from the shower. This was nocticable whenever the shower hadn't been used for a couple hours. The solution offered was using a parfuming substance, which also didn't smell great."
