'I loved this hotel. It’s right next to the gate into the historic section of Noto. It’s either brand new or recently remodeled. Everything is up to date. There’s an elevator and a rooftop terrace. I stayed three nights. Breakfast is made to order. I left a bag at a restaurant and a hotel staff member went and got it for me! I would absolutely stay again. '

'Everything at san Carlo was perfect- couldn’t’ have asked for a more pleasant stay and we’ve been to many short term stays in about 40 countries. Breakfast was full and varied to suit all tastes and absolutely tasty. The suites are large and inviting. No linens were fresh and the bed extremely comfortable. Want to linger there is a cafe next to the entrance but not a sound penetratked the suite. All in all marvellous.'

'We thoroughly enjoyed the property and put it into the hidden gem category. We had a patio room which was spacious with a very comfy bed, high quality linens, a terrific modern bathroom and an excellent air conditioner. The entire team couldn't have been more helpful, knowledgeable and kind. The location was as perfect as this beautiful town. I have already recommended the property to friends!'

'Very well located near beautiful historic area of Noto. Owners are very helpful and friendly. They also run an excellent restaurant nearby. This is a b and b, not a full service hotel. '

'We found the property to be in excellent condition. The rooms are extremely spacious and wonderful bathrooms, with king size beds which are very comfortable. The attention to details generally for all the furnishings and interiors, design are exceptional. the staff were extremely helpful and professional. Also we had a very delicious breakfast with fresh produce every morning. I would definitely recommend friends and family and we will definitely stay there again.'

'We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is beautiful, clean and quiet. It is conveniently located near Noto, Ragusa, Modica, and Syracuse/Ortigia. I cannot say enough about the owner. She is very attentive, kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Parking is free. I highly recommend this hotel!'

'Het appartement zelf is echt basic. Wij hadden nog een goed bed. De kinderen zegden te hebben geslapen op een rots (zetelbed). Het was wel vlakbij de stad. Kleine keuken, kleine badkamer. Zou het wel niet meer kiezen.'

'Struttura di nuova costruzione ed accogliente, camere spaziose, pulite e profumate, curate nei dettagli (bagno doccia agli agrumi dal buonissimo profumo, asciugamani e teli morbidissimi, letto spazioso con 4 cuscini, bollitore elettrico con a disposizione, tisane, caffè solubile e acqua), personale giovane e veramente molto molto gentile e professione, insomma struttura assolutamente consigliata e da tenere in considerazione per eventuali prossimi soggiorni a noto. 'La habitación del hotel cumplía con los requisitos que se necesitaba para un buen alojamiento. La zona es accesible para caminar a pie aunque con muchas cuestas. El baño se veía remodelado recientemente. '

'We had a perfect room with jacuzzi. The breakfast was excellent. And the people of the hotel were very kind.'

'This property backs onto a busy access road and is incredibly noisy. Better windows might have helped but I doubt it. The beds are like the name - a garden of stone. We had to put blankets down under the bed sheet, it was that hard. There are no amenities and shouldn't be called a B&B as there was no breakfast. It is inexpensive, fairly clean and the owners are friendly, so this old school place might work if you value budget over comfort.'

'It was a great location. It looks a bit sketchy from the outside but once you pass through the doors you are in another world. It is a bit noisy but that is because of the proximity to popular pedestrian streets. Our only disappointment was that the air conditioning in our room (203) did not work and it was uncomfortably warm. '
