It is in a very quiet area but very close/within a walking distance to the city centre in Chania and with a great views across to Chania harbour and the lighthouse. Irene was an amazing host, extremely helpful and kind which made our stay really memorable.'

'La villa si trova in aperta campagna ed è un angolo di paradiso. Tutto era molto curato, la pulizia era perfetta ed abbiamo trovato qualunque cosa fosse necessaria in un appartamento. Infine abbiamo molto apprezzato la gentilezza del nostro host e gli omaggi al nostro arrivo (frutta fresca, olio, vino, miele, dolci, raki). Abbiamo trascorso un periodo stupendo compresi bagni in piscina, barbecue e colazione nella pace e tranquillità. Noi la consigliamo 😊'

'We had a great time in Chania and staying in this apartment was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The apartment was very clean. We had fruit and cold water on arrival and our host Androniki was lovely who assisted us with anything we needed. The apartments is in a fantastic location being so close to the Venetian Harbour and only meters away from the KTEL bus stop which was handy as we visited many beaches that requires us to use the KTEL services. Great place!!'

'We had a fantastic week. If you're after privacy and away from the busy tourist areas, then villa Jokasta will deliver. The villa lived up to to it's description and did not disappoint. A hire/rental car is essential, and the roads to villa are an adventure. But, once at the villa the drive is soon forgotten.A small maintenance issue with 1 of the toilets. But as there are 3 bathrooms in the villa it really wasn't an inconvenience. An email to the owner to report the problem received a reply...

'This was exactly the space we needed after a small apartment in Athens. House is a nice size for 2 adults and 3 kids. Girls loved the yard and the kid toys provided. 'Yes, host was very accommodating. Met us there and gave us the rundown. I wouldn't change my rating for it but best to know that it is a long drive on winding mountain roads to get there. Once there though the place is quite unique and roomy. Definitely feel you are on a mountainous hillside in Crete - cats, goats donkeys and all! '

'Really beautiful apartment in a really convenient location in Chania. One street away from the main bus stop, and 3 minute walk from the main tourist area of Chania. The traffic outside was quite loud all the time as it is directly above a busy intersection but if the windows are closed it is not too bad. The room itself was really well designed - you can tell the host has tried to design it in Crete style while also allowing for modern technology such as air con, washing machine, and balcony....

'Quite unique and interesting villa in a quaint little village worth the drive but the grounds around the villa are not looked after at all, the pond with goldfish in it was green and not working, the other pond was even worse.
