'Very nice place. The people were very accommodating and helpful. Would recommend the private safari the drivers are really good.'

'Heerlijk zwembad en super vriendelijke eigenaar! Eten was goed geregeld en lekker lokaal en ook met de safari werden we goed geholpen. '

'Fint opphold på dette hotellet'

'Great place to stay. Extremely helpful staff. Facilities were surprisingly good. Handy location to elephant transit and national park. Nice pool. Highly recommend.'

'Positive Review Had a wonderful stay at Hantara Udawalawe. The place was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with excellent facilities. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to provide great support. The peaceful surroundings and overall hospitality made our stay very enjoyable. Highly recommended for a relaxing family getaway!'

'A peaceful nature retreat with incredible fresh food. Our stay at Kalu’s Hideaway was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We loved the wholesome farm-to-table dining—tasting fresh red dragon fruit straight from the garden, sweet pineapples, mangos, and delicious Sri Lankan vegetables. The property itself is surrounded by nature. The butterfly garden was an unexpected treat, and waking up to the tranquil morning sounds of birds overlooking the Udawalawe reserve canopy was magical. 'It is a relaxed good maintaned hotel. We were in the governors Suite and really liked it!'

'Fremragende sted, en lille perle i høj klasse og fantastisk personale.'

'Every member of staff that we met from arrival to departure was fantastic. Very polite, courteous & extremely helpful. Catered for all our needs. We booked this place last minute due to having to change our original plan (Kandy & Ella) because of the recent Cyclone. Although Lagoon Gate can appear a little isolated it is an absolute gem as you are in and amongst nature & right on the Lagoons edge. It is so easy to get out & about, the staff will order Tuk Tuks or Taxis for you or if you feel...

'It was the most amazing experience! I love the staff very friendly and kind. Help me with everything. Front house Sampath, dumindu and sithijaya , sahan, gayantha, Rukshan are awesome, Gave me the best service they could. Foods are delicious 😋, pool was clean and easy access. More then anything the staff are making me to come back here again. Feel like home. I love you guys and the hotel 🥰😍 Thank you very much for looking after me and making my stay truly wonderful. Super ⭐'

'Our room was automatically upgraded to one with A/C. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were great; they were friendly, and accommodated our early morning request for tea and coffee. They also organized great natiralist guides for our walking tours in and around the rainforest. Thank you very much!!!'

'We stayed for two night cause were visiting Udawalawe national park, which is about 30mis away so the hotel is a very good basepoint. Hotel is a walking distance from bus station and town central. Arrived and got complimentary drinks, super nice welcome and info of jeep/driver arrangements for the safari. The safari is a couple of dollars more expensive if you get it through the hotel but so easy, I highly recommend doing it that way. You get breakfast to go and the jeep and driver were...

'Personeel is vriendelijk, kamer was net en goed, balkon en frigo aanwezig. Zwembad was minder verzorg maar toch verfrissend'

'Unfortunately I am not able to review Dil Lanka Safari Resort, because when we arrived, the manager was very surprised to see us and said that he had no booking from us (three people, two rooms). Ultimately it was resolved (with help from our Sri Lankan driver) and we were given our money back (booking was prepaid). The grounds looked nice, so you could take your chances, but make sure you do nót prepay your reservation.'

'The location of the hotel couldn’t have been better! The room looked onto the pool and was beautiful. The rain couldn’t be helped but it was quite loud against the roof of the room. The Sri Lankan breakfast after my safari was lovely and I also had dinner the night before, however I would say there wasn’t very clear communication of timings or where to go once I checked in but for dinner the guy from the hotel on WhatsApp answered all of my questions.'

'Very clean room. Really nice people. Cannot do enough for you. '
