"Check in was very easy because the host was readily available. The kitchen was awesome . Anything you would need for preparation of meals was at your fingertips. The home was clean, organized, very comfortable and plenty of space for playing board games after a few hours on the beach. The adults enjoyed the hot tub every evening once the kids were asleep. The fire pit was relaxing and made for summores . I would highly recommend this home and host. Catherine Smith "

"Firstly enough cannot be said about Joe and his family. You couldn't ask for a better host for our stay! Went over and above our every wish or need and made it so much more enjoyable. Friendly, helpful, easygoing, so good!! Left us enjoy the place and was there whenever we needed him. This is a must stay place. Exactly as described in the listing, and beautiful and clean. Most nights we were happy just to hang by either of the fires after a bbq because we were so content - and same with our dog. The hot tub is outstanding even when the weather got hot! Nice in the morning after a few beers night before. Within a stones throw from lots of bars and food spots, both in the park area and a short walk from it. Keansburg beach is a 5 min walk with spectacular views of the city. Fun to be had every night if you want it. Another thing we loved is proximity. Within 15 minutes you can hit Sandy hook, Seabright, Highlands or Atlantic Highlands. The perfect location!Again cannot thank Joe enough, and couldn't recommend his place more highly! We stayed for 10 weeks and didn't want to leave. You won't want to leave either! This is a must stay if you want some time down the Shore"

"The seaside cottage was centrally located for my Christmas visit with friends. To my surprise there was everything that I could possible need to cook and there was a shower dispenser with body wash, shampoo and conditioner. There was a note welcoming me to the host’s home and a booklet with the has pictures and guidance for my stay. I choose this for the fact I could have my dog but was surprised by the extras. Will stay here again while I am visiting friends and family. "

"Plus: clean, location to beach, sofa bed actually comfortable (although no sheets that actually fit) Not so plus: front lawn not mowed, had hard time parking on the pad (I drove a Kia Sorento, no street parking), no hand towels, wash cloths, paper towels/kitchen towels (first thing went to Target to get what we needed), no games/books/magazines, designated office area—beat up desk sandwiched next to sofa, backyard not very private, just not a super welcoming vibe. Albeit, not the worst place I’ve stayed. "
