Geniet van deze onlangs gerenoveerde bungalow aan het meer in Port Douglas, NY, dicht bij Schuyler Island.

Locals van het Lake Champlain-gebied, onze familie geniet al meer dan 25 jaar van het meer! We hebben eindelijk besloten om onze droom van een meerhuis te verwezenlijken en zijn verheugd om het te kunnen delen met vrienden en reizigers dichtbij en ver weg! We kijken ernaar uit je te verwelkomen in ons huis en delen graag alle leuke avonturen die de Adirondacks te bieden hebben! Neem gerust contact met ons op tijdens uw verblijf voor leuke ideeën ... er is ZO VEEL te doen op zeer korte afstand!

Dit huis beschikt over moderne functies zoals roestvrijstalen apparaten, granieten aanrecht, USB-uitgang in de keuken, koffiezetapparaat (MOET ... we weten het), WiFi door het hele huis, een Google Chromecast die Netflix, HBO, Sling, Hulu kan streamen & veel meer! Douches van hotelkwaliteit, een natte bar met handige koelkast, (2) flatscreen-tv's, comfortabele banken om te genieten van gezellige nachten in, een stereo-ontvanger uitgerust met een IPhone / Pad Dock waarmee u uw favoriete verscheidenheid aan muziek kunt afspelen.

Geniet van alles dat Lake Champlain te bieden heeft door in deze accommodatie te verblijven !! Deze woning is uitgerust met (2) kajaks, (2) Stand up Paddle Boards, een dock en een bubbelbad (BINNENKORT)

Geniet van peddelen naar het nabijgelegen 123 acre Schuyler-eiland en verken de schoonheid van dit vacante eiland. We zijn een snelle hop over de vijver naar Burlington, VT of een 15 minuten rijden op de snelweg naar Plattsburgh, NY! We zijn ook gunstig gelegen nabij het adembenemende Saranac-meer en de beroemde Olympische stad Lake Placid, direct naast Whiteface Mountain. Het hele jaar door activiteiten zoals varen, wandelen, skiën en snowboarden houden de Adirondacks een geweldige locatie voor gezinnen tijdens elk seizoen ... hoewel we raden u aan bundelen van oktober-maart!

Spent the bulk of our time outside, enjoying the beautiful view and listening to the lake lap the shore. Property had just about everything one could need to make meals, relax and have a fun vacation. We’re hoping to stay again next summer.

Great Location

The house was great for 3 couples and you couldn't beat the location on the lake. If you go during the warm months, take fans for the 2 upstairs bedrooms. AC does not reach those rooms.

Peaceful and Relaxing

The views from the property are amazing and the area was very quiet making it easy to relax. I would not recommend the home for elderly or disabled people who do not walk well, there are alot of stairs difficult to navigate (I broke my leg 3 days prior to leaving and it was difficult). The house was clean and stocked with basic necessities. The beds were extremely comfortable, I travel alot between work and pleasure and typically don't sleep well, I slept like a baby! I took my two teenagers (14&15) with me and they had an amazing time kayaking and paddle boating on the water, after a week they weren't ready to leave. The owners even had a little fire set up down by the water for us to enjoy. They responded quickly to any requests or concerns that arrived. Overall it was a nice vacation! was rwasis very responsive

Cute lakeshore getaway

We visited in early April to see the solar eclipse. The house was cozy, cute and comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped, the views of the lake are lovely, and the eclipse was spectacular. The property is clearly optimal for summer use, and in early spring we couldn't take advantage of all of its amenities and advantages. Would love to come back sometime in warmer weather. A couple of things to be aware of: It's a long and steep set of stairs from the parking area to the house -- definitely not for anyone with mobility issues or difficulty carrying things. The road is very quiet, but there's an active train line just on the other side, so there were occasional loud train whistles at all hours.

Lakefront Views

Beautiful views from secluded lakefront property, the house took full advantage with huge window sliding doors which was great for getting fresh air. There were a couple of stairs going down from the parking area to house and from house to beach, probably not ADA accessible so keep that in mind when booking. Families and weak swimmers should bring their own life vests as none were provided for the boats. Definitely bring groceries, closest shopping center is a 30 min drive away. Not sure if off season but the port kent ferry was not operating to burlington. Wine enthusiasts should visit vineyard nearby, it has beautiful views too.

Loved the property but access was not handicap friendly. All of us are in our 70’s and 2 of us had a hard time with the multitude of stairs. It would have been nice to know how many stairs there were before renting. Also water craft were not manageable.

Paradise on Lake Champlain

This house is on the most idillic spot on the lake. It is on a quiet, dead end street with a spectacular view and crystal clear water. The house is well laid out. The owner was was quick to respond to questions and request.

Peaceful and beautiful lakeside home

The views from this home are absolutely incredible!! And the private rocky beach was so nice. We loved taking the kayaks out on the lake. The home was very clean, bright, and airy. We enjoying sipping our morning coffee in the rocking chairs on the deck. The hosts made our stay easy and we felt at home right away. We hope to be back someday! Thanks again!

Hillside house on Lake Champlain

The house was clean. It is located on a steep hillside overlooking Lake Champlain. The view was beautiful. The hillside location lead to a couple of challenges. The driveway was VERY STEEP with a hairpin turn. There were reflectors to help guide you. There was space for one car at the top of the hill to park at the roadside. There were 32 steps from the parking area to the house and a similar number from the house to the water. The house provided two sit on top kayaks for our use, along with a paddle boat which were stored at beach area. My grandchildren enjoyed using them. There was a stone beach with very clear water; remember your water shoes. The house was on a quiet, dead end road. There was a heat pump available for air conditioning or heat as needed but we had a refreshing breeze off the lake.
