Luxury Villa with private pool in tranquil setting

Villa Vida is in the south of Kefalonia in the tranquil village of Klismata with extensive and dramatic views across to Mount Aeolos and the sea. The villa consists of a 2 bed 2 storey villa sleeping up to 4. We also have a separate guest house which can only be booked by the rental of the main villa. To book both properties please see our other listing.

The Villa is designed for escapists looking for peace and tranquility along with the option to explore nearby beaches or the shopping and nightlife which Argostoli has to offer.
Terraces and gardens surround the villa providing spacious areas to relax and dine in shade or sun. Each of the 2 bedrooms and living areas open out to a terrace or balcony.

Private swimming pool measuring 32 square meters with outdoor hot and cold massage shower.

The pool, gardens, cleaning and linen are maintained twice weekly.

Location: Car hire recommended. 15 minute drive from airport. Local village taverna's a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk away. A number of sandy beaches are a short drive away with the nearest being Spartia which also has a good fish taverna with views across to Zante.
For those looking for some nightlife or shopping, Argostoli the capital of Kefalonia is a 15 minute drive away. Here you could also take lunch on one of the many waterfront taverna's and watch the loggerhead turtles swim by.

Wonderful villa for a family holiday

We had a fantastic holiday at Villa Vida. We've stayed at many villas over the years and this was definitely one of our favourites - great location, really peaceful with wonderful views. The pool and outdoor space worked perfectly for us and the villa is really well equipped with everything we needed (and more), a real home-from-home. Great holiday. Lets start with the owners. A big thank you, your recommendations on where to eat were spot on and you were always helpful and quick to respond. Marina the local contact was very helpful too. Cleaners and poolman very good. Villa was lovely. A rare find in that the reality matched the photos! Everything you could need for a villa holiday kitchen wise, 0lus 6 good sunbeds and equipment for trips to beaches. Setting was great too with the pool area and balconies not being overlooked with views of Spartia. A lovely greek family just across the road. Really peaceful but not far from anywhere. Yes care hire is a must but all adds to the holiday especially if you want to venture. Wholeheartedly recommend this villa. Once again a big thank you to John and Julie

A lovely property, albeit a little remote, enjoyed the quiet location but access roads and access to driveway challenging with larger vehicles. Appreciated property being cleaned twice weekly and change of bedding and towels, albeit small detail, more than one tea towel would have been useful. Website details need updating as hit tub advertised but none at property, again not a major problem. View from villa spectacular, some really nice restaurants within 10 minute drive. Hire car an absolute must have. Welcome pack was a really nice touch and much appreciated. Hosts have been very responsive to any request for information and support.

Wonderful Stay

The villa was amazing and we really enjoyed our stay there and also in Kefalonia. The villa was probably one of the most well equipped villas we have ever stayed and with everything you could ask for and more. My only minor gripe was it was missing a Nespresso type machine, but it did have a filter coffer machine if you like that. The owners were super quick to respond on the odd occasion we needed something and Marina and her family were also helpful. We are already considering rebooking for 2024 we liked it that much. A car is definitely essential.

Relaxing stay at a beautiful villa

We stayed at Villa Vida for 2 weeks in August. We chose the villa because it was in a quiet location but not cut off from civilisation. We were impressed with the way the villa looked in the photographs and the specification looked superb. To say we were pleased with our stay is a massive understatement. John and Julie have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and anything we needed was just a cupboard/drawer away. We had an incredibly relaxing stay at Villa Vida and would recommend it to anyone who is thinking of staying.

Luxury villa

What a fabulous holiday. The villa was perfect, real luxury in the most tranquil spot. We could have asked for more. The villa was clean and very well equipped, it had everything you could ask for. Pool was fantastic and the views simply stunning. You do need a car but I think that would be true if anywhere you stay in kefalonia. We enjoyed day trips to many of the towns around the island and everything is very accessible from the villa. There is a supermarket a 10 minute drive and a local shop up the road you can get any key essentials from. John and Julie are amazing hosts and communicated amazingly throughout the booking process. Whilst I’m kefalonia, Marina and her family were brilliant at looking after the villa and were available for anytime we needed. Would highly recommend starting here! We would love to go back.

Totally flawless

We couldn’t fault anything with our booking at Villa Vida. I have to say right from the very start Julie and John were extremely helpful, such lovely people to deal with. On arrival at the villa we were all blown away by the beauty of the location and the villa itself. We were greeted by Marina who was so helpful throughout my stay. The villa was equipped with everything you could ever wish for, we were even given a welcome pack on arrival. Overall the best holiday experience I’ve ever had. Villa Vida is just beautiful. The attention to detail and exquisite taste of John and Julie was amazing. Inside and outside the whole place was immaculate. Lovely stay in modern, clean villa

We had a lovely stay at Villa Vida, outside space was great with large pool, and lovely BBQ area and several dining areas. Inside was really modern, albeit on the small side from what we are used to, we found the bedroom space a bit cramped and the kitchen area small, but everything was well equipped. Nice location with short drive to restaurants, beaches etc. Great that villa was cleaned 3 times during our stay with linen and towel changes, normally you only got a mid-clean stay with self catering villas so was nice with such hot weather to have the linen changed regularly and pool cleaned regularly etc. Kefalonia is a beautiful island with lots to see and do!

Beautiful Villa in an amazing location

This was our first family holiday with a 1 year old, we wanted a villa holiday and couldn't have been happier with our choice. The villa is equipped with everything you could possibly need and is really well presented. The outdoor space is beautiful, different areas for different times of day and the pool is a great size for the villa. The location is great, mini market for the essentials is a few mins walk away, for everything else you need a car. With a car you can get to some amazing restaurants (recommend the Olive Lounge for an amazing view and Esperides) in less than 10 mins and the same to the beach. Could not recommend the villa enough, we are already looking at going back next year.

Spectacular!

Absolutely gorgeous villa, pool and views. Nearby there are lots of amazing beaches, our favourite was Avithos which was stunning with a great beach bar and 2 tavernas. We loved the peaceful location and enjoyed spending some evenings BBQing in the outdoor kitchen area. The villa itself is equipped with everything you could want and the beds were very comfy. We had a perfect stay and definitely recommend! Thank you to Julie and John
