'Very nice place to call our home base while exploring the area. We spent a considerable amount of time in Gibbon, Kearney and Grand Island. Very cozy and we loved the big farm dogs!! The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. They only thing would be anybody sleeping in the living room (teenage son) heard the interstate noise most of the night.'

'We found sand on the main floor throughout the cabin. After that, I swept and kept sweeping throughout our stay. NE is a sandy place. Thank you for being honest about the communication. Lighting could be improved throughout the cabin. We enjoy reading books, and I needed to be able to see in the bathroom to insert a contact lens. Lastly, the mirror on the bathroom door needs to be permanently fixed. Thank you, we found this location ideal for us.'

With people living and walking around upstairs, the "white noise" machine worked wonders while trying to sleep.One negative, Being in the basement is already the coolest portion of the home, but when the residents upstairs like their rooms cool, it sure makes the basement that much colder. 'I've stayed in my fair share of VRBO's etc. This was my favorite! The home was immaculately clean. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with lovely kitchenware. The beds were the MOST comfortable ever. All linens were high end. There is lots of natural light and a lovely backyard. Communication with hosts was super easy too.
