'The place was being remodeled while I stayed there. Future travelers will very likely find a freshly renewed place with renewed details. The bathroom tile, trim and fixtures were freshly replaced. Funny thing is the bathroom door was the original which had not been refinished to match the new things they’re doing here. I think guests will be pleased when it’s done. My room was clean! For my part, construction noise began at 8 am. Breakfast is offered but the pancake machine was not working....

'First and foremost, this place has no elevator! So prepare to carry your bags up the steps. I did not find one of the front desk people very friendly or willing to help. Shades on the windows in the bedroom are not very private nor do they keep out any light. The furniture in the room is very rickety. And the breakfast was worthless. Hard-boiled eggs and waffles toast and muffins was basically all they had. If you can, find another place to stay. '

'It looks like a old Days Inn inside and out. The room was recently painted up to the ceiling, the bathroom light / fan fixture in the ceiling needs a good soak and clean or replacement. The room has a 17" ? TV, mini fridge and microwave, but did not have a coffee maker or a hair dryer. The floors needed mopped, they were sticky. 'Desk clerk was rude! It says there is a possibility of a deposit upon arrival if you live within 60 miles of the hotel on here. It didn't say how much the deposit would be (it does now because they updated it later) or that they wanted $250 IN CASH even though it says they don't accept cash! We live 45 minutes away but were staying there for our son's surgery the next morning. They didn't explain the deposit or try to calmly explain anything.
