The Derwentwater launch stops close by for a lift back to town and also disembarks at Lingholm, where you can see the garden that inspired Beatrix Potter’s tales.

Open the door on to this welcoming apartment, head up one flight of stairs and find yourselves in an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with splendid views. Return home from exciting days out to unwind in here in front of the TV with Freeview and Netflix or to enjoy a few pages of your holiday read.
