  • Onlangs gerenoveerd voor 2017! Een huisje van zeer hoge standaard op een rustige, verhoogde locatie met een prachtig uitzicht .. Begane grond:
    Woon- / eetkamer: met Freeview Smart TV, dvd-speler en bluetooth-luidsprekers.
    Keuken: met elektrische oven, gaskookplaat, magnetron, koelkast, vriezer en vaatwasser.
    Droogruimte: met wasmachine en droger.
    Slaapkamer 1: met kingsize bed.
    Slaapkamer 2: met twee eenpersoonsbedden.
    Badkamer: met bad, douchecabine, toilet en verwarmd handdoekenrek .. Eerste verdieping:
    Slaapkamer 3: Galerij met open trap naar woon- / eetkamer, twee eenpersoonsbedden en een eigen badkamer met bad, douche en toilet. . Centrale verwarming op gas, elektriciteit, beddengoed, handdoeken en Wi-Fi inbegrepen. Kinderbed en kinderstoel beschikbaar. . Tuinen aan de voor- en achterzijde met gazon en zithoek. Prive parkeerplaats voor 2 auto's aan de voorzijde van het pand; lossen alleen op oprit. Niet roken.. Brandelhow is in 2017 geheel gerenoveerd tot een hoge standaard en geniet een perfecte locatie in Keswick, op minder dan 10 minuten lopen van zowel het stadscentrum als Derwentwater langs een privéstrook in een rustige woonwijk. Brandelhow is een bungalow in dakkapelstijl en bevindt zich op een ietwat verhoogde positie met een prachtig uitzicht op de bergen rondom Derwentwater, met een kijkje op het meer en het voordeel van een grote achtertuin met gazon en privéparkeergelegenheid. Kwaliteit meubels en fittingen zijn voorzien voor uw plezier en een spectaculair uitzicht vanuit de slaapkamer en woon / eetkamer staan garant voor een ontspannen verblijf. De mezzanine-stijl kamer op de eerste verdieping behoudt privacy en heeft zijn eigen en-suite faciliteiten. Brandelhow heeft volwassen, goed aangelegde tuinen aan de voor- en achterzijde met een verscheidenheid aan zitjes van waaruit u de vele uitstekende uitzichten kunt bewonderen. De beklimming van Walla Crag begint aan het einde van de weg en met vele andere wandelmogelijkheden vanaf de deur. Winkels, pubs en restaurants in overvloed in Keswick met Brandelhow biedt een rustig toevluchtsoord aan het einde van de dag. Het beroemde Theatre by the Lake van Keswick is slechts een korte wandeling en zeker een bezoek waard. Winkel, café en restaurant ½ mijl.

Very clean, very comfortable beds, I couldn’t have slept in the upstairs due to the low ceiling rafters I’d have hit my head, beautiful views from lounge / bedroom, everything you could possible need inside. Was a little disappointed there was no welcome pack/wine usually this is left & especially at Xmas time. We were 15 minutes late leaving at 10.15, the cleaner I’d say was quite rude didn’t want to speak to us & didn’t appear to be a very nice person so we felt it kind of put a bit of a dampner on our final day as we hurried out. But it’s a lovely clean bungalow to a high standard

Simply stunning accommodation, very stylish and comfortable furnishings and beds. Immaculately clean and well equipped. Owners have thought of everything. Our teenage daughter loved the upstairs room and Alexa was a huge bonus! Location and views are gorgeous from the front and rear of the property. Highly recommended. 10/10

This was the best cottage we have ever stayed in.

This was the best cottage we have ever stayed in. It was relaxing to gaze out at the view of Derwent water and the fells beyond. My daughter loved watching shrews in the garden and my husband loved having Netflix and music courtesy of Alexa! The cottage is conveniently placed for all amenities in Keswick. We cannot wait to book again for our next visit to the Lakes.

We were a family of four adults and two children. Plenty of room, spotlessly clean, lovely fixtures and fittings. Kitchen well equipped. Lots of outdoor furniture. Walk into Keswick takes approximately 15 mins. Dustbins not labelled and difficult to understand what went where.

Brandlehow is an extremely comfortable and well equiped property. My only complaint is with the local agents - Cumbrian Cottages. Arriving early after a 200 mile plus journey during which my husband was taken ill, we asked politely if we may enter the property early. The assistant sitting opposite the door of the office was most unhelpful. We srated that we didnt want to unpack byt just to get my husband near a bathroom. We met a flat NO. We aporeciate the need to clean and the property was indeed spotless. It was just a shame tgat a 70 years plus person was forced to sit outside a supermarket fir over 2 hours to be near a bathroom. We thoroughly enjoyed Brandehow but unfortuneatly left early for home as my husband was still unwell

Nice & clean other than the oven, lovely light lounge lots of windows, comfy beds, good bedding. Missed having a welcome pack, milk, tea & coffee would have been nice touch. Furniture generally good but settees soft and a bit uncomfortable. Liked the 3 seating areas in the garden, good quality furniture, good for dogs, being secure with the lockable gate. Overall we had a lovely 4 day break, only minor niggles, would stay again.

Quiet.

Quiet. Lovely view. Clean comfortable and tastefully decorated property in a really good location both for fell walking and walking into town. We hardly used the car. Settees are getting a little uncomfortable but that is the only criticism. Beds great. Owners have thought of every thing to make the holiday easy - drying room, torches, hose at back door for muddy dogs and boots. Kitchen very good. Lovely bathrooms. Really enjoyed our week there.
