Great room in a great location, we even had a view of the mountains. Easy to get around the town centre and reach the buses too. Mark was super friendly and helpful.

Mark was very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. The cooked breakfast was very good (well done Mandy). The decor is very seaside B&B but the room was warm, clean and fine for our 4 days trip. We'd be happy to return and happy to recommend this place.

Lovely stay of 4 nights over New Year. The Silverdale is very convenient for Keswick town centre and has its own small car park. The host was very friendly and amiable, the breakfast excellent in all respects. My room on the top floor was comfortable, with a good sized TV and an easy chair. The electric shower didn't need any fiddling with - just the right temperature straight away, though the shower cubicle was a little tight. Unusually for this type of guest house, there is a common lounge area with TV adjacent to the conservatory which serves as the breakfast room. Very much recommended..

We stayed at The Silverdale Monday - Friday the second week in October 2023. Very nice room en-suite, including parking off-street, and full breakfast. Mark and Mandy are very accommodating and personable. The location is residential (quiet) with a short pleasant walk to the market area or park. Consistent shower water pressure and temperature (our stays at other places were not). Highly recommend The Silverdale, Keswick.

A home away from home
I had a great stay at The Silverdale! Mark was very friendly, and really the perfect host. The breakfast was lovely, and the room very enjoyable. The location is also good, with only a few minutes walk to the town centre. If I come back to Keswick, I definitely want to stay here again!

First time visit to The Silverdale and will definitely be back. In top floor room, well spacious with good shower and comfortable beds. Ideal location near to centre, excellent breakfast and service. Brilliant price for centre of Keswick so will fully recommend and will return.

Diners club card was not acceptable. The location is nice, close to a bus stop, restaurants and some paths to mountains. Room is clean having short bars to hang small laundry, like underwears and socks. The breakfast is so wonderful! I don't know other BB in Keswick, but I recommend this BB.

We were in the Lake District for a walking holiday and the hotel was perfect for us. It was clean and exactly as represented, our host Mark was lovely, and the location was ideal - an easy walk into Keswick and very near the bus stop. Highly recommend; would stay again if the opportunity presented.
