Camping on the water with million dollar views
We had a great time staying on the boat while down in the keys for scuba certification. Mark communicated with us well. We recommend adding the dinghy rental to your trip to get back and forth to land and to cruise around and sight see. The cove was quiet and very peaceful at night. We put the mattress outside and slept under the stars (and mosquito net, provided). For a no frills adventure, this was great for us! Thank you

Mini vacation
It’s like Mark says, the boat is not a hotel, she is Quant and rustic, quiet and peaceful with opportunity to fish all day long. Being on the water to absorb nature and the creatures of the sea was a wonderful experience. The owner Mark was very accommodating to our needs.

Life on a boat in the Florida Keys
I thoroghly enjoyed the experience of staying on an anchored boat in a protected harbor and being on the water with unobstructed views. Mark was a great host and offered many tips to the cabin cruiser / houseboat life style.

Our stay was amazing! Our host was super friendly and communicated with us before we got there to make sure everything was good, as well as checking in everyday to see if we needed anything. He also suggested great places for us to eat. We loved staying on the boathouse and exploring on the dingy boat😁 this has been the best vrbo experience we have had! We will definitely be back. Peaceful Paradise
First of all, we will miss this boat. Thank you Mark, for offering this experience to the average persons. My wife and I enjoyed everything about our stay. The description was accurate. Come prepared, this is a boat, not a hotel. The views at sunset were amazing (we weren't up early enough for the sunrises)! Dolphins showed up at the boat. How cool! Mark was attentive with wonderful local suggestions on places to visit. We would highly recommend renting the dinghy. At this point we have stayed 2 weeks on the Bonne-Vie and can't wait to return.

It was great having these folks stay on the boat! Very communicative, pleasant, tidy, and appreciative! Four of the main components that we love to see in guests! They have a great energy, I feel like I made a couple new friends :-) so we will definitely look forward to seeing them again soon!!

perfect getaway
This was a perfect spot to get off the grid a bit. Manatees stopped by the boat every day. Caught fish off the back of the boat. Short drive to the marina and close to restaurants if you want to venture off the boat.

Beautiful!!!
The host was very nice and helpful with local hotspots. He answered all of our questions and was easy to communicate with. He showed us this secret tiki spot that was amazing!!! This was just what we were looking for, a nice and quiet relaxing getaway in the keys!! Will definitely be back!!

Manetee Cove
I had Great time with my stay in Key Largo on this boat. The Manatee Cove is so peaceful. The boat is spacious with room to walk around and the veiw is Awsome. Thanks Mark for all you do for making my stay trouble free from the word Go. This stay is worth it!

Not as advertised
The boat is in a fabulous location. Mark really tried hard to accommodate us but seemed put out when we asked for things promised in the booking. We were prepared for this to be like camping on the water, but much was not as expected. Mark was not ready for us at the prearranged check-in time (which was after the posted available check-in time). The generator wasn't working the first night and was temperamental throughout, with an 8 hour run-limit (so no AC, hotplate, microwave, coffeemaker without generator). The camp potty (not the boat toilet as in the photo) overflowed and he did empty it, but the floor wasn't cleaned. Grill was tricky to use and the kitchen isn't equipped for even boiling pasta (only pan is a small skillet). Doors don't shut all the way and handle is broken. Ran out of water overnight (after extremely limited, careful use during our stay). No fridge - just a cooler with ice, which wasn't refilled frequently enough (as promised) to keep food from spoiling. And the outboard motor on the boat we paid an extra $50/day for kept quitting out on us (basically essential to access the property but not included in price of stay). It's a great spot, just come prepared and know what to expect.

Steven and his boyfriend were perhaps some of the least suitable guests for our vacation stay! They couldn't seem to figure out anything, and didn't even attempt to try:( please believe me, when I say we really don't like to leave negative reviews about guests, but in this case, host beware! I had to come out and light a perfectly good working grill, they did not follow instructions on the toilet, which is why it overflowed, the dinghy my 8 year old daughter has no trouble whatsoever operating, and the sliding doors yes,hang-up occasionally, jiggle them and they will close just fine - LOL. Nice enough fellas, but this was absolutely not the adventure that they were ready to handle :-( I wish them all the well. Please, all potential future hosts, take a moment to read through our almost 600 reviews, that are very positive, and you will figure out through those reviews, the entire truth of what to expect when you stay on any of our boats :-) God bless, and we'll see you soon!!

Chill adventure
Wonderful experience to stay out on a boat anchored in the shallow bay, feeling like you are in the middle of stars and fish and vast sky. Mark is chill and super helpful, the boat is modest but has what you need and is in a beautiful location. Fun to putt around in the dinghy around the mangroves, be at your own pace out on the water. Unforgettable (great) experience.

Exactly what we were looking for!
We showed up nearly a day too early due to flights, Mark was so communicative and thoughtful, that the morning we arrived, he already had something in mind to offer us as an alternative to catch up on sleep. When we were finally settled into the boat we booked, he had everything set up for us and we were ready to go. He offered an entertainment option right off the cuff, which was awesome. Jetlagged, we decided to stay behind. I had some user errors with the motor on the dingy that was provided for us, immediately Mark was to our rescue. He was amazing. We came into this with a mindset of camping on a boat, which is exactly what we were looking for, but we got so much more out of it. We were able to relax with the sounds of the water, the sunrises and privacy. It was excellent! I hope to make this a reoccurring trip going forward. Mark, your cheese curds are coming!

Weekend in Paradise
If you’re looking for a 5 star hotel then move on but it you’re looking for a perfect weekend getaway to relax in a clean very quiet environment then you just found it the property owner Mark Seda was very nice and quick to respond and help out with any of our needs I say quiet it was amazingly quiet no light pollution you could see stars for miles the neighbors in the surrounding boats we very quite as well so in my opinion this was a perfect weekend getaway in Paradise thank you Mark for making this an affordable and awesome weekend

This was a very unique property! Its on the water away from the doc so you have to reserve a dingy (which was very handy). Its not a hotel but we camp a lot, so this was like a good glamping experience for us. We were rained hard but it provided a good shell and it did NOT rock hard, which was amazing! Mark is pretty hands on on taking care of the guests and he was really helpful on telling us what's available around the area. Cold shower is available on the boat but there are also a shower on land where we had access. That was very helpful also! Having a generator for the coffee makers and microwave was really nice too. We were able to charge our phones also through solar power and generator (for the rainy day). Next time, I'd bring things to BBQ and explore the area more!

Great Get Away!
We had such a great time staying on the boat. The trip out and back on the dinghy was quick and painless and had a wonderful view of the stars 🌟 at night. The Sunrise/Sunset situation was very romantic and the boat is situated in a cool little bay far enough away from noise and light polution of the mainland, just north of key largo. Think camping on a boat. Loved it 10/10 will be back.

Decided to try something new when renting through VRBO while we were in the FL keys. We decided to rent a boat for a night. Well the idea sounded fun however the experience was not what was expected. I have rented several times with VRBO and the descriptions and pictures were always accurate-well not this one. We were on a junk yard salvage canal where there were abandoned boats, the boat we stayed on was just a place to sleep, make coffee and use the fridge. The better bathroom was in a converted shipping crate and the boat bathroom was, as expected small and a marine toilet. What upset me most was the abandoned boats and tents that people were living in right next to us. LOW Budget option but shady area. Pictures are not honest and I was disappointed. A positive was that the manager of the property was helpful.

Pamela, the pictures and description of the boat are accurate and we have 170 good reviews in airbnb of our boat. Pelican Cay Harbor is a marina and RV park, it’s means it’s not just boats there. Glad at least you said something positive!

Memorial weekend
First I would like to say that Mark was a wonderful host. The boat fitted our needs perfectly. It was wonderful sitting on the back of the taking in the sun and the breeze. The sunset cruise was wonderful. Beautiful views and a phenomenal sunset. It was the perfect way to end a wonderful week. Thanks, Mark Mike & Dawn Knight
