Terrible entry day, very bad help for the first 2 weeks!
Totally unacceptable. We checked in at 3:15, told in no uncertain terms that we “weren’t supposed to be there till 4:00. Call back at 4!” The thermostat read in the 90s! We had arisen at 3am, to catch our plane for KW. We couldn’t wait any longer. The cleaners had been there… we didn’t see a problem….
Gary came, the person in charge of our stay on Flagler. He fixed the thermostat very expertly, but said it would be some time till it’d be cool…
The living room ceiling light, the only light or lamp in the whole living room would not come on. He bought within a couple days a floor lamp and table lamp so we could see, and an umbrella for the pool area which was in the ad pictures that was not there.
There were no place mats, no hot mats to get food from the oven, no disposal and a total of 2 dish towels. Every piece of furniture in the entire house was matching rattan, a particularly boring pattern for the LR sofas. I brought out bright Floridian pillows
from the bedrooms to make things look more tropical. There were very few plastic glasses and NO plastic dishes to use by the pool. I won’t even discuss the 2 bathrooms.
I had to scour around in cupboards for “things” toput out to make things look like someone cared.
The pool!!! The pool for 2 long weeks had 6 inches of black on the all four sides just over the water. It was revolting. The locksmith who came because the battery failed at the car port door said he would never go in a pool with that problem. And he
