Key West Relaxation
After you have visited Duval Street with all the restaurants, museums and shopping you will appreciate what this condo has to offer. This condo offers you the relaxation that Key West also offers. The beach is directly across the street from this unit. Plus there are beach lounge chairs, umbrellas, kayaks, and paddle boards you can rent. The condo book is filled with all the information you need.

Perfect get away!
The space was perfect, and well maintained. The local community members were very nice. The amenities were awesome and the pool/hot tub were perfect! We would definitely like to book here again in the future. The property manager was quick to respond when needed and very friendly as well. At least 10-15 minutes away from the action on Duval. However, we took an Uber to Southern most point ($12ish Uber ride) then hopped on the free duval loop transit; this was so much easier than fussing with car/golf cart rental and way cheaper. All around a great vacation!

Nice place in a good location...
If you're looking for a 2 bed, 2 bath rental, near enough to Duval but quieter than Old Town... this could be the place for you. Located across the street from the West end of Smathers Beach, you're only a 5 minute walk away from the ocean. And, the community has a small, but nice enough, pool area to enjoy. Inside the unit, both bedrooms are spacious, with plenty of closet space and drawer storage. The living area is large and has comfortable seating as well as a large screen smart tv...and as an added bonus the kitchen is updated. The owner/management was very attentive and made the check-in and check-out easy.

Great place away from the Duval and basically on the beach!
The property is well kept. Pool and recreation area are clean and well maintained. The condo is very nice, a bit dated. Beds are comfortable for us, depends on what firmness you enjoy. Water pressure in the shower is great! The view from the balcony is serene. We enjoyed watching the birds and stone crabs. The beach is right across the street. It is quiet at the complex, very respectful of others. This is not a timeshare, you will be staying in a complex that people live in. Heads up to anyone driving a truck or large SUV, the assigned parking space can be challenging. The beach is Easy to get to with water sport options, umbrellas and chairs. We would stay there again.

Great condo
The condo is in a quiet gated neighborhood only a few miles from downtown. Easy to access by car, golf cart, or bike, and is very close to the airport. It has a nice pool and hot tub and is directly across the street from the beach. The manager is excellent with communication. A mattress topper or new mattresses would be lovely as the springs are noisy and unsupportive. It has a minimally stocked kitchen with dinnerware, serving bowls, cookware, and cooking utensils. Some of the cookware was ruined. Recommend a griddle for cooking things like pancakes. Note that the manager did offer to find more plates when we told her there were only four, but we had already bought paper products. Hopefully, this will be rectified for the next guests. There were no dishtowels or dishcloths; only a very old sponge was available to wash dishes with. I would consider staying here again because otherwise, it was a nice, clean, well-located condo.

Great location
The unit is very nice. Properly manager really good and patient on responding. Nice view of backwater channel. The property is super secure. We met two of our neighbors and they were fun to know. Pool area really nice. Our unit had some pool noodles in a closet and we added one to the collection 😊. We also left a couple of small beach umbrellas. Maybe they will still be there when you visit. We loved how convenient it is to walk to Smathers Beach. But we could also get to either Stock Island or Downtown in just a few minutes too. You have a covered space for parking one vehicle (which we liked). There is just nothing bad to say. Like any rental I guess we could nit pick something but not sure what it would be. Also the washer and dryer was a very much appreciated perk! We would like to return if our busy life allows. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Key West Trip
It was a great location and definitely convenient to everything. Ubers are always accessible. For the price, you can't beat it. Key West can get very expensive but going down there with friends and finding a place convenient like this was a treat. It's definitely an older community. We went for the songwriter festival as we do every year, which tends to be a pretty crazy week so just keep that in mind.

Nice condo
We were very happy with this beautiful condo. The location was great with lots of amenities- pool, tennis courts, grills and beach directly across the street. The condo itself was nicely furnished and was well stocked with all the items you could possibly need. The complex is gated and very nicely maintained. Roberta/ property manager responded quickly to any questions we had. We’ve stayed in many different condos in different places over the years and this was one of the nicest!

Perfect vacation
We were looking for a low key vacation with lots of sand and relaxation and found this plus more at this condo. Easy check in and parking. The beds were comfortable, place was clean and had a wonderful veranda for coffee and bird watching. The beach was directly across the street and the pool and hot tub on the property were beautiful. The excitement of Key West was easily within reach and the free Duval Loop bus was outstanding. Would love to come back here.

For the price you can't beat this VRBO. It's a little older and could use a little updating but for the price you can't get any better. Had a couple of small issues upon checking in, but the manager had them fixed immediately. Very responsive and would absolutely stay here again. Proximity to the beach needs to be expressed. You're literally 100 yards away from what felt like a private beach.

Great place to stay close to the beach.
The property overlooks the salt ponds and provided for an amazing sunrise every morning while watching the wildlife. Close access to all amenities, but a rental car would be a necessity to get around town and to explore the other Keys. The condo had all of the basic amenities and allowed for us to cook meals as well as to enjoy the pool on the property. Would stay here again if we make it back to Key West.

Needs maintenance desperately
This condo has a nice location however, the unit needs MANY updates. Toaster broke after one use, blender was broken, master bath toilet ran constantly, shower head in second bathroom was a dribble,, kitchen chairs falling apart and not comfortable to sit on, living room couch was also very uncomfortable, blinds in master bedroom and living room were both broken. It’s obvious that the property manager does not do regular checks of the property. This was confirmed after I messaged her about these issues. She relies on the renter to complain after you arrive. She got upset that I may ruin her 4.5 rating with my complaints. Really? Do your job, check out the property after each rental, do normal maintenance. It’s not my job to report these problems to you when I’m on vacation. I would not recommend this property at the price we paid but I did not let it ruin our trip. Key West was a great place to visit and we had a great time.

Wow. Everything was in working order before you checked in and when you reported three days after arrival new items were delivered immediately and maintenance arrived to work on chairs as well as plumber. Things can happen but it is when they are not corrected immediately then that would be an issue. You received a rate of $230 a night and Key West hotels run $350 up to $1,000 a night. I am sorry you asked for another day because your flights were cancelled but I had another renter arriving that day. If this unit was so bad I wonder why you would request another night! This property continues to receive 5 star ratings with over 65 reviews. Roberta

Property is great, we love the location;, very reasonable rate too; BUT, the unit we stayed in had furniture(chairs) that were in bad dangerous condition, the washing machine was so loud and noisy, we could not run it when we were in the unit! Property management would NOT give us more than 4 rolls of bathroom tissue for the 11 days we stayed there , so we just bought some; gave me the impression that the management cared very little for our comfort; one thing though, it turns out, I had left my wallet there and the next renter turned it into the Rental Agent, and I had to get a friend to go by the Agent to pick it up and mail it to me.

First I’d like to thank you for your four star out of five star review. This is the first I’m hearing of any dangerous furniture. what I don’t understand is why didn’t you report that to me I’m hearing this for the first time and about the washer dryer being too loud that’s the first. I don’t think you’ll find in any of my other reviews any issues about the washer dryer or the furniture. I’m also surprise about the return of your wallet I’m the one who called you that the wallet was found and you were so grateful because you didn’t know where you lost it I offered to mail it back but you said you had a friend in Key West that you would prefer that she pick it up and send it back and that’s what I did. Concerning the toilet paper there are six rolls that are placed by the housekeeping company and I had three additional delivered during your stay. Roberta

Everything was fantastic. The condo was nice and clean, had everything we needed in it. We made good use of the pool/jacuzzi/grill. The only issues that we ran into was that we lost internet service a handful of times, some outages lasted a few hours, and we had to switch HDMI ports on the cable box to get it working. If you like the beach this is a great and close location, but it you want to get to the night life you'll have to drive or use a ride service.

Roberta was great to work with. She was very prompt, very helpful. Location of property was right across from SmathersBeach. Right on the bus line to get down to Duval st. Very convenient. The pool and tennis courts were great. My kids loved both I loved the grilling area. A very low key location for a family to hangout on Key West.

Amazing location and stay
My wife and I were so happy with our stay here. We really didn't want to leave. There were two bedrooms with King size beds, the place was clean and so wonderful. The porch looked out to a lagoon and it was cool to see all of the wildlife, including some alligators, birds, and raccoon. It was close to a lot of things to do, across the street from the beach, and close enough to downtown that we visited multiple times. We can't wait to stay here again.

The overall process was ok. condo very clean, was not well stock with dishes or spices to cook for a party of four. Place need glasses that match. The property owner should take the picture of Smathers beach off the vrbo listing. It is dirty, full of seaweed and stinks.Homeless people sleeping on the beach and doing drugs. Keep your children off this area.Overall a good prices but the mask mandate on the property has gotta go

This is a local favorite where locals run/walk in the morning and early evening and nobody is allowed on beach after dark. Nice quiet location and clean
We enjoyed our stay in the condo. It was very clean but very dated. It would be nice to have the blinds fixed in the bedroom with the door wall. New bedding would add some charm also. The location was perfect for us. Close enough to drive or rent scooters to get into the historical downtown but far enough away to be a nice quiet space. We loved the pool area also. Roberta was fabulous and responded quickly when we contacted her.

Great beach location
My husband and I are beach bums. The Keys are not known for their beaches but we really enjoyed Smathers Beach. Nice sand for walking with a sandbar about 50 yards out. The condo was a great location to the beach, nice pool too when we had a very windy day. Condo was clean & check in was easy. We did habve to drive to our restaurants on Duval but that was not a problem. We preferred to be near the beach. Will definitely stay here again if we travel to Key West!

There is a nice restaurant called Salutes on the Higgs beach that has indoor and outdoor dining close by.The island of Key West is only 2 x 4 miles so easy accessible too many restaurants and attractions. Winter Escape
My wife and I stayed for a week and we were pleased by the accommodations. The condo was clean and quiet overlooking the marsh, complete privacy on the balcony. After a day at the beach or boat it was the perfect place to come back to for a swim or soak in the hot tub. Highly recommend if you like some tranquility. We will be booking again next winter.

I really love key west 38 years experience there.
The condo was a very tired place that needed. Maintainencr,fallen off closet doors.. The furniture in the living room was ok but very tired. The rug in the living room was very dirty and stained, no bare feet ,the rug was grimy and stained. The mattresses were worn out popping springs uneven very sad condition,they creaked amp popped when laying on them, Not very comfortable. The heat and ac worked good,the place was reasonably clean. There were not any extra paper towels or toilet paper.no dishwasher detergent,we purchased what we needed to get through the week. Overall the facility and grounds water nice,near the public beach and airport runways but convenient to old town. I do wish the condo was a bit nicer.

Walter, Thank you for your review. I wish you would of said something to me during your stay. There was a repeat renter that stayed 28 days just before your arrival and the owner actually owns another unit there and does a through walk thru before each renter arrives. The furniture maybe around three years old and a new king mattress was just purchased to replace the twin beds in the guest bedroom. The cleaning company is a professional company and I have sent them your comments. They also leave enough supply for the week. Again I wish you would of called me. You are welcome back anytime. Safe location near the water
The property manager was amazing and timely! Couldn’t ask for better. The place didn’t appear that it had been having a deep clean however. While it wasn’t horrible it was noticeable. Very safe location and nice pool if you have kids with you. Right across the street from the beach which is nice. A bit of a walk however to Mallory sq or other keywest shopping. The condo itself was nice but the beds were very worn and uncomfortable. It could use some updates. But great price for the size of the rental. The kitchen was very nice. The view of the salt marsh was very pretty and made you feel like you were in a more secluded area.

Dawn, Thank you for your five star review. It does have a great location. I believe the recreational room which only has books and tables has been close to not encourage large group gatherings. The pool, Jacuzzi, tennis court and bbq grils are open for your enjoyment. Love you have you back. Roberta-Property Mananger

Key West getaway
This property and location were perfect for our family. Smathers beach was right across the street and was never crowded. I would recommend walking down the beach a little ways if you want to avoid the seaweed. The condo has everything you need from beach chairs to beach towels. The nature preserve was something our family enjoyed every morning and evening as we would take our binoculars and watch the many birds that would flock to the area. The condo was clean and has a hand sanitizer dispenser as soon as you walk in the door. Key west made our family feel very safe as masks are required everywhere and people are compliant and pleasant and still vacationing and enjoying the beautiful Keys with respect for all. The pool at the condo was also a favorite of our family and was never crowded. We will return again and Roberta was amazing to work with and when we asked her about staying a couple more nights she was able to accommodate us and move us to another condo in the same complex that was just as beautiful.
