I Was looking forward to celebrating my birthday. Found the property to be located in an ideal location and pictures seemed to depict exactly what I was looking for. Upon arrival, there is no one to talk to. They simply have a key box where they leave instructions. Property was decent but not something I would consider “clean”. The issues began shortly after arriving. The room felt a bit colder than expected. Messed around with the heat through the night, temp dropped to under 50 degrees. We were so cold, we had to turn on the oven to try and warm up. Needless to say, we didn’t get any sleep. Called the emergency maintenance line at 6am. No answer. Called an additional 2 times then they finally answered at around 9am. They Said they got the messages but they were backed up. Maintenance finally arrived at 2:30pm with a space heater. Maintenance tech said “heat loss is a reoccurring problem in this unit”. He seemed genuine and was trying to do his best. At 4:30pm, another technician stopped by and said they had corrected the issue. The heat didn’t become fully functional until morning time the next day. There were no winter blankets. The fire place barely gave heat as it turned itself of every hour. Lack of sleep prevented us from enjoying the following day. Showering when it’s less than 50 degrees is not fun. The only time we had reliable heat was the day we checked out. Definitely not the way I wanted to spend my weekend.
