'With intermittent strong monsoon rains and winds, the water came thru the doors in the common areas. We absolutely loved the food and staff and never thought twice about eating anywhere else. John, our host was absolutely the best! Kind, perceptive and always helpful. Admin was also incredibly responsive via email and ensured that all of our requests and inquiries were promptly addressed. 'Maldives meets White Lotus. Dusit Thani was a dream destination. The lush vegetation and beautifully kept grounds were paradise. Although there were a ton of things to do (restaurants and activities), we chose to do absolutely nothing but relax and soak in the beauty of the island. The staff and service are 5 star. The food was so fresh and delicious. I would definitely return for a longer stay. '

'Everything about this resort was phenomenal! We stayed in one of the villas on the lagoon and the room was incredible. Not only was it very modern looking, but very clean and very spacious. The back deck over the water had lots of room for lounging and the pool looked over the reefs where we could see fish, small sharks, and had a beautiful view of the lagoon.
