Zeg Aloha naar dit prachtige, pand aan zee en charmante 2e verdieping studio gelegen op een bluf met uitzicht op Charley Young Beach.

Met de meest fantastische uitzicht over de oceaan door het hele appartement, dit Classic Beachfront Studio is down-to-earth en elegant in zijn eenvoud. Het is ontspannen en goed ingericht met een eettafel in de stijl van een heirloom en 2 stoelen, de woonkamer heeft een bank en een comfortabel queensize bed met een ensemble van fris beddengoed van Hotel Collection. Het scherm deuren openen naar een zonnig Lanai met een achtertuin uitzicht op de tuin en net buiten dat, uitzicht op het zandstrand en zachte surfen. Het heeft een eigen ingang aan de achterkant van het hoofdgebouw, een volledig uitgeruste keuken en een eigen badkamer met een zacht bad en strandhanddoeken.
Voorzieningen zijn onder andere airconditioning, WIFI en een flatscreen T. V., 2 strandstoelen en parasol.

Perfect geschikt voor 2 personen, maar kan 3 personen slapen met de extra slaapbank.

De ruime met gras begroeide oceaan aan de voorkant van het hoofdgebouw is helemaal voor jou tijdens je verblijf bij ons te gebruiken, het is zonder enige twijfel een van de kenmerken van deze aanbieding en het beste deel van het onroerend goed - zonsondergangen en walvissen kijken, veel plezier!

De buurt
Charley Young Beach Park bevindt zich op Kai'au Place in Kihei, het Hawaiiaanse woord Kai'au vertaalt in het Engels, "swimming sea" of "a nice place to swim". Dit strand staat bekend om zijn zachte branding en perfect om te zwemmen, snorkelen, stand up paddle, vissen, en er zijn mijl van zandstrand te lopen in beide richtingen. En bijna alles is een korte autorit of op loopafstand van het strandhuis - supermarkten, boerenmarkten, coffeeshops, cafés, restaurants en lekker eten, winkelen, entertainment en alle benodigdheden die u maar kunt bedenken om gelukkig en comfortabel te houden tijdens uw verblijf.

Andere dingen om op te letten
Vergeet niet dat Hawaii zich in de subtropen bevindt waar planten, vogels en insecten allemaal deel uitmaken van een bloeiende natuurlijke omgeving. U kunt er zeker van zijn dat we gaan door veel moeite om schoon te maken en vrij te houden van de studio bug. Toch kun je af en toe een beestje te zien. Als je verblijf bij ons, kunt u helpen bij het legen van uw prullenbak elke dag en niet het verlaten van een voedsel uit.

Maui relaxation

Fantastic location

Right about Charley Young beach. Simple place but clean and everything I needed. The AC is a plus in the middle of the day. Everything was close: beach, shops, surfing. Very nice place.

Perfect location

We had a great ocean view from our upstairs studio. It was very spacious. The very short walk to the beach was perfect. Parking on the street or in the nearby parking lot was easy. The studio had an air conditioner but we left it off and opened the windows for a wonderful breeze.

Perfect spot right on the beach

This is a wonderful space with a full kitchen and view of the ocean. You can hear the waves through the open window. There's a good AC unit for the hotter days. The shower has good hot water and pressure. There is plenty of seating to just relax and enjoy the view and sounds. There is direct access to Charley Young beach park which is just as lovely as you can imagine. But it's also right on the main road to everything you need in Kihei. Walking distance to Kihei Kalama village. I wish I was still there.

Clean, comfortable and great beach

We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay, including beach chairs and towels for the Charley Young Beach which is a great sandy beach with excellent sunsets seen from the beach or the deck. You can’t beat the location!

Hawaiian Beach Vacation

About what we expected, was nice looking out the window and seeing the beach and ocean. Slept with the windows open and fell asleep to the sound of the waves. Location was perfect, parking was sometimes a challenge as there is no designated spots for this property. I would say the one thing that we weren't happy with was the towels didn't smell very good.

Another great stay

This is our fourth time staying at this property! It’s a great location and the studio is charming and comfortable. We watched whales breach from the patio. The location is on one of the best beaches in Maui. We used this as a home base to explore the island! We also appreciated the beach amenities Derrick and Arlene provided—chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and more!

This is the best location ever!! The view is phenomenal and the access is great. Easy walk to the beach and any place you need to get - restaurants, stores, coffee, activities - everything!! Manager is on the property and very helpful with anything you might need. An absolute gem!!!

We really didn't know the history of the house until we talked to the owner. This is actually is the Charlie Young house. The current owner and his family co-own the house and kept it in the family. This house is right on the beach. This is not a new house. It was built after the war. It has some age, but also charm. Did I mention it was on the beach. Charlie Young beach and the start of Kamaole beach #1. The surf sound is almost to loud if you open all the windows. We watched most sunsets from the lawn of the property. Again this is not a new property or 5 star. But we had no problems and the owners were the kindest people. We also had a private parking space. Thanks Derrick and Arlene

Good location just off the beach with close proximity to shops, stores, and restaurants. Unfortunately we notified the property manager early in our 14 day stay that we had a bad kitchen faucet (leaky) and it was not fixed at the end of our stay. Some of the windows will not open properly and the lock on the sliding glass door is very difficult to use

Perfect for 2 on a budget

Only complaints, walls are supper thin and windows are louver not solid so you hear everything. Pretty quiet neighborhood so first part of stay was great waking up to the waves, but the early garbage truck that come two days during our stay and loud second neighbors were awful! So if you are a light sleeper might want to bring a sound machine. Shades were shear so thankful it was private, but we still kept the lights low. The yard to use you have to go out around the house, down the street to the opening in the gate to use, kind of weird. Also not enough towels for 4+ day stay, 1 per person with no washing machine is not enough. Thankfully we were there only 5 days or I would have requested clean towels. The shower and kitchen sink are tricky to turn on and off. Last the sliding glass door is really hard to lock. Other then that loved the location and it fit in our budget.

On the beach

Host was very responsive throughout. We arrived well before check in and he graciously provided early access. Home is steps from a great beach with sunset views from the unit. Plenty of great beach equipment. We loved listening to the sound of waves at night. This property was a great value!

Unbeatable Location

First things first, the location is unreal. Steps from one of the best kept secret beaches on Maui. White sand, calm waters, and tide pools with numerous turtles and wildlife. Close to ABC and other shops and restaurants as well. The property itself is a no-frills kind of place, which is perfectly fine and what I was expecting. Two things I want to mention. First being the poor sound-proofing between neighbors. The people in the unit next to us by no means were being loud or unruly, but we could hear very clearly everything that was said or going on. It legitimately was like we had a third person in bed with us snoring. Second, the cleaning and general state of the unit was honestly a bit in disarray. Toothpaste scum all over the bathroom faucet, kitchen cabinets not closing/hanging off, the shower hot water dial being nearly impossible to figure out. If sound doesn’t bug you or it being a tad dated, this place really is a fantastic deal.

The Sea at my Footsteps

I had a wonderful stay here. The proximity to the ocean was perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the waves. The property was clean and very private. I would recommend Blue Water Rafting for a snorkeling trip that was recommended to me by Derrick. Aloha!

A most enjoyable stay

What a great location! We loved falling asleep and waking to the sound of the surf and wind rustling the palm trees. This beachfront studio is just what we had in mind for a convenient place to stay for our 6 days on Maui. Derrick and Arlene were very friendly and accommodating hosts. They provided us with beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, a propane grill, fresh bananas from their tree, and helpful advise regarding places to visit on the island. The unit is equipped with everything you would need, and is conveniently located within walking or short driving distance to restaurants, food trucks, and grocery stores. And of course...the beach. It's right out your window! We enjoyed swimming and napping on Charlie Young beach, and watching sunset from the sand, or the deck. You can't go wrong with this place if you don't have a big group.

Amazing, comfortable apartment in fantastic location

We were so happy with our stay. Derrick was welcoming and kind. We felt immediately comfortable in the space. The apartment had everything we needed, and was very clean. The location is incredible: a view of the ocean from the unit's balcony, a close walk to a fantastic beach, and a ton of great food nearby. The grassy oceanfront yard was also awesome for whale watching and relaxing. It's a special place!

affordable beach apartment

The location of this vacation rental is fabulous. We were able to walk from the door to the beach (one of the best beaches on the island) in 30 seconds. The hosts are generous with sharing beach items such as chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, towels, and snorkeling gear. Kihei is centrally located on the island and worked well for easy day trips to Haleakala, Lahaina, Hana, Wailea, the harbor at Ma'alea and other West Maui sights. The apartment itself is simple and older, but has a nice view of the ocean and the afternoon breezes kept the temperature very comfortable without needing to use the air conditioner. The bed is comfortable. We were happy with our stay here.

More than a beach apartment

Staying at Derrick’s property was a true Hawaiian experience. The apartments view of the ocean and proximity to the beach make this the perfect getaway. The apartment had everything we needed and is an easy walk to restaurants and shopping. This is a very cool place nestled in Kihei and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

Prefect location

This property couldn’t be in a more perfect location. Second floor unit made the winds nice blowing through the unit. Located is within walking distance to all the restaurants as well as numerous parks and beaches. If you’re looking to be comfortable, conveniently located and surrounded by locals....this is the perfect spot. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again.
