'This location was a good staging point for Yellowstone park visits through the park's west entrance. We visited Yellowstone every other day and then did local activities in Island Park on the off days. We had seven people in our group and the cabin was very comfortable for that size group. Overall the cabin worked out great.'

'Was a getaway for just siblings and their spouses to spend time with grandma and grandpa. It was perfect!! Low-key and easy access to places of interest. Just a nice quiet place in the mountains. The facility was top-notch and we shared and made a lot of memories.'

'The Yellowstone House was perfect for our family get away! Plenty of room, inside and out, for us to gather, and spread out;-). The kitchen is amazing and fully stocked. We made several meals there and found everything we needed. The house was super clean and amenities were excellent. I highly recommend this house if you are in the Island Park area.'

However, a few things to note....My family felt like there were a lot of rules (5 people limit in hot tub, no snowmobiling around the property, thermostat settings) and not a huge fan that one of the outside cameras faces directly into the hot tub area. Some family members stated their beds weren't very comfy but mine was fine. The TV in the downstairs bedroom isn't practical at all since it is in the corner above the headboard lol. 'It was a very nice getaway. The house is definitely located in the perfect place to get away from everything. We saw almost as much wildlife near the house as we did venturing through Yellowstone. The house was well maintained and got good use of the firepit each night. Having the washer and dryer was extremely helpful and we were able to pack light.'

'This property was perfect for our family vacation. Lot's of room for the great grands to play. The adults enjoyed the pingpong and foosball tables. We enjoyed watching the marmets play and sunbathe on the rock pile. The 5 year old even named 3 of the 5. Buffy was the big one, lammie, and fluffy, the smaller ones. We also had a visit from a big deer. This place was very comfortable and everyone enjoyed our time.'

'Beautiful area, gorgeous cabin! The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we have ever had in a VRBO. Plenty of parking. Fabulous firepit, comfortable beds. Check in was a breeze! Our only complaint was the construction. The delays were pretty long on a couple of the days we went in and out of the area. Hopefully the project will be done soon!'

'Cabin on the Rocks is a beautiful cabin in a beautiful part of Island Park. There was lots of room for parking. The fire pit was so fun for us to sit around and make s’mores.The Blackstone grill was so nice to have, we used it twice a day. I would definitely stay here again.'

The outdoor surroundings were very peaceful and quiet. We took the opportunity to explore and enjoyed the wonderful view of a momma and baby moose on our last day. We hope to return someday soon.'
