Live A Pirate's Dream

Dit oceaanhuis met 4 slaapkamers en 3 badkamers biedt een geweldig uitzicht en alle moderne voorzieningen om uw verblijf in de Outer Banks geweldig te maken. Op slechts 600 voet (een korte wandeling van 3 minuten) naar de openbare toegang tot het strand van Martin Street (parkeergelegenheid beschikbaar), kunnen u en uw gezin binnen enkele minuten op het strand zijn!

Het onderste niveau van The Pirates Dream beschikt over een carport onder het huis en de ingang op de grond voor eenvoudiger lossen. Spoel af in de afgesloten buitendouche als je helemaal zanderig bent en kook dan je laatste vangst op de houtskoolgrill in de achtertuin.

Kom naar boven naar het middenniveau van het huis en kom tot rust in een van de twee Queen-slaapkamers. De kinderen zullen absoluut dol zijn op slapen in het stapelbed in de derde kamer. Er is een groot terras buiten voor als u nog steeds wilt genieten van de frisse lucht maar uit de zon wilt komen. Met beddengoed en handdoeken die al zijn verstrekt bij The Pirates Dream, hoeft u minder uit te pakken voordat u met uw ontspanning kunt beginnen!

Uw gezin zal het geweldig vinden om samen te komen in de ruime woonkamer boven of u een film aan het vangen bent, games speelt of iets lekkers in de keuken maakt. Het hoogste niveau beschikt ook over de laatste koningin slaapkamer en een complete badkamer direct naast de woonkamer. De comfortabele meubels en het indrukwekkende stranddecor zorgen ervoor dat u jaar na jaar terug wilt komen. Geniet elke ochtend op het grote dek van de zeebries terwijl u uw koffie drinkt en de zonsopgang bekijkt. Het nest van de bonuskraai is de perfecte plek om overdag aan je kleurtje te werken terwijl je die middagzon opzuigt!

Kill Devil Hills is het hart van de Outer Banks, dus als je in The Pirates Dream in de buurt van MP 9 verblijft, ben je overal dichtbij! Allemaal binnen een korte 2 tot 3 minuten lopen, heb je tal van voedselopties op veel lokale hotspots, waaronder Dare Devil's Pizzeria, The Bonzer Shack, Fuji Japanese Steakhouse, JK's Restaurant, Five Guys en Booty Treats Ice Cream & Shave Ice! Heb je een badpak nodig of wil je een surfplank huren? De Pit Surf Shop en 17th Street Surf Shop liggen op slechts 2-3 minuten lopen. Maak je geen zorgen als je je tandenborstel bent vergeten, CVS is slechts een sprongetje, spring en spring op de weg. Ga voor een leuke gezinsactiviteit naar Destination Fun voor lasergame, minigolf, een bouncehuis en arcade-spellen. Voor een leuke, maar meer educatieve ervaring, ligt het Wright Brothers National Memorial op slechts enkele minuten afstand en is het de perfecte historische bezienswaardigheid om te verkennen! Ongeveer 3 mijl verderop, de Nags Head Fishing Pier is de perfecte plek voor vissers in uw groep om een lijn te gooien en hun geluk te testen, maar als u niets vangt, kunt u altijd stoppen bij Billy's Seafood Market om wat te pakken verse lokale zeevruchten om mee naar huis te nemen! The Pirates Dream ligt op slechts een korte rijafstand van supermarkten, benzinestations en nog veel meer restaurants en leuke lokale winkels! Of je nu van een geweldige lokale pizza bij Dare Devil's Pizzeria gaat genieten, sushi bij Fuji Japanese Steakhouse bestelt of ontbijt bij Stack’em High Pancakes, je zult zeker een restaurant vinden dat aan jouw smaakvoorkeur voldoet!

Great Beach House

This property was everything described and more. The owners keep a really up to date and classy place to stay while on your vacation. It’s within walking distance if a beautiful beach and many amenities one may want or need while staying. I will definitely go back to this property if possible. Thank you

Great family house

Super easy check-in/check-out process. The area is very touristy, but lots to do, tons of restaurants and shops. Also lots of traffic. House is walking distance to the beach, but I definitely recommend driving to the parking lot. Overall our experience was really good.

Top Notch Spot

We stayed with our pair of adult children & their families. The location and amenities were perfect for the week vacation! The kitchen had ample dishes, cooking utensils, etc for the 7 of us to make some great meals. Several eateries were in walking distance when we wanted a meal out. The beach was an easy walk. The beds were comfy and showers were hot with the right amount of water pressure! (These last 2 are typically important for me.) I'd happily book here again. I'd recommend bringing your own beach accessories. Also, we had 1 bath towel per person. It worked for us but some travelers may want more.

The property was clean and well stocked (bath tissue, soap, garbage bags, coffee, etc.). When we had an HVAC hiccup, the property manager was immediately responsive and solved the issue. Highly impressed with ease of check-in and clarity or check-out instructions. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice place

I am a VRBO beach property owner as well. The minus is the lack of beach accessories and a list of requirements what to do before a check out. For traveling families there is nothing to take to the beach. No beach towels, no beach chairs, no sun umbrellas, no coolers. Overall rating still 5 stars.

Great location

The house layout was perfect for our stay of 6 adults and one child (2). However there are a lot of stairs so if you have anyone with diminished capacity of walking or anyone who requires a wheelchair this isn’t the place for you. The rooms and bathrooms were clean but needed to bring our own toilet paper, hand soap and paper towels. The main level furniture appeared to have several stains. The kitchen was clean, had two microwaves and two coffee pots. the refrigerator was spacious and the dishwasher was nice to have. Last thing I will say is there is a bit of a walk to the beach about a half mile and there is at least two flights of stairs getting from the street to the beach, there is parking where you can opt to dive and use the public parking but you still have to climb the stair to the beach, I would pack light because lugging anything up and down those stairs is a pain. I would totally stay here again with a few modifications to who and what I brought with me.

A nice getaway

We enjoyed our time at the home. Our only issue was the keypad on the door didn't work, that was quickly brought to the attention of the property manager who brought it to the attention of the owner who then promptly installed a new one within 24-36 hours.

Only One Problem

We loved the house, the location, the walk to the beach, and everything else. The only issue we had was that the front door code just stopped working during our stay. It stopped working about a day before we left, so we did not bother calling the help line, but that did happen. Overall though, great, and would stay again!

We had a great experience at this house. Pictures are accurate and we loved the convenience of having stores and restaurants nearby. We did have to bring our own beach chairs/umbrella but we asked beforehand so we were prepared. Outdoor shower really came in handy and the deck was great at sunrise!

Good location, not very clean

The location is good. Rooms are spacious and beds were comfortable. There were no toiletries or trash bags or kitchen cleaning items available. The utensils an cutlery inside the cupboards was quite dirty, the dishwasher doesnt do a good job of cleaning. The furniture in the living room was a little dirty, multiple stains on the couches and by the way my dust mite allergies started acting up, these wernt properly cleaned or vacuumed. Property manager not an easy person to work with.

House was exactly as it was advertised it was very clean except one bathroom inner liner of the shower curtain was very dirty at the bottom. Had to purchase my own dish and dishwasher detergent and garbage bags. None were in the home.

Clean and comfortable

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and there was plenty of room for the 7 of us. Six adults and one child. We really enjoyed sitting out on the decks. There are plenty of chairs. You can sit in the shade or in the sun. You can even see the ocean from the roof deck. It’s just a short walk to the beach and you are very near a CVS. We even took a 9 minute walk one morning to a Super Wings store. I guess my only recommendation is to bring extra towels and washcloths. They do provide them but there were 7 of us with 1 towel and washcloth per person plus hand towels. The dryer took about 3 hours to dry a normal load. No big deal really but I wished I had packed a few extra. If you are looking for a great place to stay with your family, I highly recommend this house. You won’t be disappointed.

Post-covid get away

The property was very clean and fresh. Kitchen was well stocked. Bed linens and towels were way above average. Location excellent. Sometimes hard to maneuver keycode lock, but keep trying! Would like some written instructions for how to use TV (for those not technological savvy), and would like a heads up on whether propane tank and charcoal provided, when advertising that they are available. Other than that, it was a wonderful house and would rent again without hesitation! Keep up the good work, Joseph! It was a pleasure working with you.

Nice location for our last minute plans.

I liked it, but as most places are..... mattresses and box springs are 100 years old and sleeping isnt fun. That alone ruins trips. My daughter slept on the floor the whole time. I recommend nicer sleeping experience, constant squeaking and no sleep isnt fun. That's every place though, besides hotels.

Great Getaway Spot

For our first trip to the OBX this was a great location. The house was clean and well maintained. Plenty of space for two families. The kitchen was well stocked. (Bring your own consumables such as paper towels, trash bags, soap, detergent, tp.) The owner always responded promptly to emails and was flexible to work with. The wifi was sufficient for two adults working online and two kids attending school online. Each room had space for a small folding table to accommodate this. It is a short drive to the Jockey Ridge sand dunes (highly recommend hang gliding beginner lesson) and short bike ride to the Wright Memorial. Recommend Beachcombers Wood Fired Grill Tiki Bar on the beach, Outer Banks Brewing Station outdoor dining, Kill Devil's Frozen Custard and Beach Fries, and Scoops Homemade Ice Cream Parlor, all are walking or biking distance.

We booked the trip about a month before the arrival date & were scrambling to find a place when I saw the listing. The place was great & located within walking distance to a public beach access that had a lifeguard on duty daily, which was great since we did have children traveling with us, as well). You can tell the property manger takes great care of his place & anyone who stays here will surely have a wonderful time!.

GREAT BEACH HOUSE!!!

Me and my family stayed at this beach house and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Short walk to the beach. We had kids ages 2-5 so we’re worried it might be too far away but it was a perfect distance. Close to food and all the action as well! We also took the time to go up to duck, nc and Corolla to see the wild horses both of which were not too far away! We will definitely stay here again! 5 stars!
