Stonefield Castle Hotel
Castle at the lake, that's all, really. But it was ok, as we only went there to sleep. Good bar, friendly personnel. The maintenance of the room could have been better and the bed more comfortable.

Lodge room spotless, helpful staff and fabulous location. Excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Knap Guest House
Small scale Bed & Breakfast overlooking Tarbert harbor. Nice rooms, with a smallish but complete bathroom. Alistair, our host, cooked us a lovely breakfast. Excellent starting or finish point for the boat trip to/from Islay.

Family Cottage by the Crinan Canal, handy for whisky, golf and standing stones.
The property was lovely and well presented and in one of the most beautiful places in the UK. The host was very helpful with all my inquiries and was clear and straight to the point on check in and check out. Everything you could possibly need to use while staying here is in this house.
