'You have to pay 10 dollars per day for microwave use aside from the resort fee daily. It’s pretty expensive already then all these extra payments. The room was also basic. I guess you pay for the view and the location. The beach has wild waves good gor surfing but not much for swimming. If you have kids and want a lot of swimming without wild waves go to Royal Sonesta in Lihue or Princeville close to Hanalei Bay. 'We had a good stay at the Point. The staff are friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean and big enough. There is everything you need. The furniture looks outdated, but it have it's charms. The resort looks great and we enjoyed the pool. The kids loved it. The drinks at the pool are good and affordable. We had a beautiful view of the ocean. The location is central to visit al the known tourist sites.We enjoyed our stay and we recommend this resort.'
