'Naming of location was misleadng. (Bell Gorge is nowhere near property which is located in a unattractive area). Staff were a bit over the season and not as willing to help as other Kimberley places we visited. Maybe could benefit from extra training or maybe difficult to attract good staff to a bad location? '
'This place caters to tour groups and to self sufficient campers but not to the in- between category ie people that travel by car and without camping equipment. You can purchase fancy cocktails there but there is no one to help you change a tyre. There is no hosepipe so you can clean your car when it has a centrmeter’s worth of red dust on it. 'This is a beautiful place to stay - loved the location, the stunning coastal scenery and near deserted beach where you can relax the day away in sheltered hammocks or swimming in the pristine waters. 'This motel is conveniently located next to a shopping mall (supermarket, etc.). It has swimming pool and big communal kitchen. It could use a renovation (pieces of floor tiles missing, paint coming off the ceiling, dated bathroom), but overall OK to stay a night if you are passing through.'
'Fabulous stay at the Roey - right in the middle of town and close to bus stop for anyone wishing to head to Cable Beach. Staff were well trained and so, so friendly - from the young lady who picked us up at the airport (exceptional) and everyone we came into contact with after that. Restaurant fare was well above our expectations and we ate there every night. Great live music on Sunday afternoon. The bathrooms could do with some updating but overall our rooms were clean and safe.
