Perfect relaxation
Had a great time unwinding in a cozy little cabin in a serenely quiet neighborhood. Full kitchen that came stocked with goodies for our stay, a very helpful property owner who was there to help with any issues and was extremely friendly, and the bed in the loft was one of the comfiest places I’ve slept in a long time. Had an amazing time and will definitely be making plans to stay here again.

The home is just perfect! Very clean and very nicely decorated. Everything that you would ever need while staying there was available. The area was very quiet. He even had wood for a fire. He even had beverages in the fridge. I definitely would recommend staying here!!!

Great Option
It's a really nice property. It's very spacious for just two people, but could be a little crowded for four. It rained one morning a bit, but was completely dry on a nice size covered porch with chairs & swings. It's in a very scenic location, virtually zero light pollution. Great, and quick communication with the property owners. It has a nice looking firepit, that we unfortunatley didn't get around to using.

My wife and I spent a full week in this cabin and had a wonderful time. It was very clean and you could tell that it was a relatively new cabin. The floor plan was well thought out and the owner was VERY prompt with any communication.

Exceptional Property with Great Host
The property was a super relaxing in-the-country getaway. The cabin was very clean and homey, and the host left a nice note and all kinds of snacks and drinks. We relaxed around a campfire both nights, and drinking coffee on a crisp Saturday morning on the deck drained all my stress away. The cabin was very close to Salt Fork State Park where we hiked (a lot!!!), mined for gems, played mini-golf, and went to the beach!

Relaxing cabin for two
We had a very relaxing stay here at the Wooly Bear cabin. I was able to sneak in a few good naps here. We enjoyed the quiet. I appreciated the firewood so we could make a campfire on our last night. The checkin process was very simple. My only suggestions would be to have decaf coffee available.

Upon arrival we met Joe who was just finishing up once we walked in the cabin it smelt very clean very refreshing the decor was tastefully done with high and finishings. A birthday cake greeted me on the table with a wonderful card to me this was above and beyond and very much appreciated. A very secluded and peaceful getaway. You can hear every bird and cricket, so if you love that sound, you will love this place! Every amenity you could think of just like if you were at home! Even though it rained most of my stay, there were so many awesome things in this cabin like board games and an amazing movie collection!!! Also loved the fully stocked kitchen. Perfect getaway!
I needed a break from all the stress of 2020 and this adorable cabin was just the thing! Clean, cozy, and far away from everything! I really enjoyed sitting on the front porch and listening to the birds and when I got chilly I headed inside to read and relax. I hiked in nearby Salt Fork State Park, which is beautiful at this time of year! Since the photos were taken of the cabin, a deck has been added to the front, with chairs, a table, and gas grill - perfect for warm weather! The interior of the cabin is tastefully decorated and comfortable. I wish I could have stayed longer! The Abrams family had stocked the refrigerator with plenty of bottled water, Coke, Pepsi, Orange soda, and candy - a nice extra touch! I highly recommend this property - one of the nicest rentals I have stayed in and I hope to return some day!

Great couples getaway

Perfect Getaway
My husband and I wanted to get away for a few days since our Anniversary trip was cancelled due to Covid. Joe’s cabin was the perfect place to take a break from the craziness of everything! We were greeted by a personalizes note, a bottle of wine, and lots of other goodies. The property was immaculate. We took a few day trips to Salt Fork park to hike, play golf, and rent a boat. At night we made fires and enjoyed the beautiful weather and peacefulness of the cabin. We played games and make dinners each night. I’ve already talked to family and family about returning here. Avoid the dated lodge at Salt Fork and stay here!!!

You will not be disappointed!
Do not waste your money by renting a cabin on Salt Fork property. It will cost you more and is not even close to the amenities offered by this property. It has everything you would want including a stocked refrigerator! The owners are super friendly and accommodating, and the cabin is beautiful. We will be back!

Perfect Getaway
This cabin was the perfect little getaway for my parents. They enjoyed all of the little details of the cabin and had a great time. If I needed anything, the owners were quick to respond and did everything to make sure my parent's stay was relaxing and nice. We will definitely be back!
