'I’ve stayed here several times and this was my first not so good experience. The generator outside my room woke me up for a couple hours during the night. Realized there was no shampoo in the bottle in the midst of my shower; requested shampoo from front desk, I had to wait 15 minutes for someone to bring me a bottle. '

'The hotel is old fashioned in a good way. The staff is attentive and responsive. Check-in involved pen and paper, and there are metal keys. Has a strong European vibe. … The location is fabulous - near cool bars and restaurants and a short walk to Independence Hall and other historic sites in the Old City. '

'We stayed in the Edison suite for a girls' weekend (5 of us, but 6 would have been comfortable too). It was an amazing alternative to a standard hotel as everyone was able to be together the entire time and everyone had plenty of space. The top bedroom is really cool and you can see Elfreth's Alley from the windows. We will be back the next girls' weekend for sure!'
