'Lovely hotel unique and very good staff The only recommendations are that they have to give hotel guests prefference in one of the restaurants and make up the beds every day and close the corridor for people who are not staying in the hotel. Very noisy in the corridors in the evening '

'Staff were rude; the hotel was full, couldn't do anything, not even enjoy the fire pit, and there were a lot of missing ingredients, and the menu was not accurate. It was a terrible stay.'

When I search for a hotel, the first thing I look for is free breakfast, After my workout, I went down to lobby to get my free breakfast, unfortunately, they did not offer free breakfast. The other issue, I thought free parking was included, but it wasn’t.'

'Property was nice, great location but our room was gross. It smelled so musty. The hallway leading to our room was super dirty. The carpet was dirty. Wall vents were full of dust and spider webs in corners. The caps on the sides of the toilet were covered in urine .. explains why it smelled like urine so much. Not sure if other floors are the same .. but we stayed on the 5th floor.'

'The hotel staff and property owners were very friendly. And the cafe attached to the hotel was amazing. Loved that they made their own jams and bread fresh. It was very aesthetic. Will be booking again my next San Diego trip'

'The shower leaked. I told the front desk about it but they didn’t seem that concerned, so we had to deal with water all over the floor when we showered. Housekeeping staff took the extra pillows we requested so we had to ask for them, and wait for them, a second time.'

'Found a silverfish in our room which was pretty gross. I know they come from outside but it was not pleasant to endure. The place has an overall wet smell, and they cleaned heavily with bleach before we checked in and it sort of set the tone to not truly feeling clean. You can tell this property has plumbing issues due to sunken wood floor spots, paint drips down the wall with patches. And the paint needs a serious refresh because I cannot understand why it is so dirty on the walls of...

'The room was fairly clean, although it smelled like mildew in there. I took pictures and reported a dead decaying mouse next to the pool, which the staff really didn’t seem to care about. The pool itself was green cloudy and the bottom of it was covered with slime. We literally had to go next-door to the Kings Inn. When I emailed the manager about it. He was rude and unhelpful. I highly recommend staying at the best Western in Escondido, that one is amazing… This one not so much.'
