'Exactly as listed. We were trying to get away from the noise and parties for July 4th. There were fireworks but far enough away that our dog did ok inside. Lots of fields for playing and chasing fireflys. We had s’mores by the fire and enjoyed the views. No complaints . They had everything we could need there. It would be a beautiful place for a wedding or other event.'

'This home could be straight out of Southern Living magazine! The curb appeal and interior design are stellar! It is obvious that heart went into this home!! Additionally, the location was perfect to enjoy all of the Andy Griffith fun, which were all also great! Be sure to do the squad car tour, Snappy’s, Barney’s cafe, Floyd’s, the courthouse, Wally’s, downtown, and take your time in the museum to view the slide show and read all the things. 'My son was graduating from NC state but lives in Winston Salem. This was the perfect spot for 5 adults and served as a great base camp. There were many small touches included and communication was immediate. We would definitely stay here again! '

'I stayed here with my 11 year old twins. The hosts were so accommodating and even provided a twin mattress for us. They also gave us great restaurant suggestions which really helped since there really is nothing close by. Having coffee and a few snacks was also a very nice touch. Loved the screen porch and play area too. We will be back again. '

'The deck overlooking the creek and spillway added so much enjoyment! It made for a beautiful way to start and end the day. Our kids enjoyed fishing, finding crayfish and clambering around the rocks in the creek. We all liked the modern farmhouse feel and style of the interior of the house. The beds were very comfortable and the bedroom fans were helpful as it was a hot weekend. Checkout and check-in were easy. We loved our time here! '

'House was clean, lots of room. Anything you need to cook or eat at the house. Convenient to Mayberry and Pilot Mountain. In need of a little TLC maintenance. Paint peeling on bedroom and bathroom doors. Sink plunger in bathroom sink needs fixed. Would stay here again. '

Pleasant enough but not sure we'll return.

"We stayed here for 2 nights in a comfortable suite. The property was very pleasant, as were the staff. Parking was easy and safe. Strange that a hotel of this class doesn't have a bar or restaurant though. I know they offer a glass of wine in the evening, but having to walk 10 minutes to find somewhere to go for a nightcap we found unusual. Feels more like a wedding venue than a full-service hotel. Breakfast was very good."
