'Wow! What a treat it was to stay here. It was perfect in every way. Everything you needed in the kitchen, comfy furniture and beds throughout. Staying in the National Park was such a treat! 'The cottage is a very comfortable place to stay, and we were sorry when our 4 days there came to a close. Communication with the property owners is probably the best I have ever experienced. The location is quite stunning in terms of its natural setting. The drive to the market in town is not that bad.You'll see plenty of turkeys quail, and elk in the neighborhood, not to mention downey woodpeckers all over the place. 'In the Oaks was a perfect location for us to be just outside the park and accessible to stores and restaurants. Mark the property mgr was very attentive and replied quickly to any inquiry. We would love to stay here again! Beds were comfortable, house was clean, basic needs provided, kitchen was well appointed and views and the grounds are great. We had a few deer that kept visiting us in the morning. I’m sure wanting scraps but we loved just watching roam around. '

'It was a fabulous place. It’s much bigger than it looks like in the pictures. It was very clean & had all the essentials & more. Jill was an excellent host & was always a phone call away. It has a beautiful kitchen that opens up to a huge living room. And out the back door opens up to a huge deck with the occasional rabbit hopping by. The air conditioning worked great. The place was just perfect & would love to stay there again. '

'The property is GORGEOUS. My husband and I got married in Alabama hills and he and my family and I rented both the east and west wind properties. The location is beautiful and the outdoor bathtubs are worth the stay alone. My only change would be to fully enclose the toilet in the west wind and put up glass in the shower to keep in the steam/heat. Even then, it’s still an amazing property. '
