'Wonderful Escapism A treat away for my 50th birthday. Exceptional service throughout our stay from bar and restaurant staff, through to the lovely cleaning ladies. Made my stay very special, fabulous food both at the Pilchard Inn and the black tie dinner. Any little issues were dealt with straight away and am already looking for an excuse to go back again, oh and you must brave it and take a swim in the mermaid pool.'

'Didn't see he host at all during my stay. Although there were no issues, I knew if I needed them they were a phone call away. The room was well equipped with a bath and shower, kettle, hair dryer, towels etc. Very comfortable and quiet. I dropped something out of my pocket and as I was looking for it, seen that under the furniture was covered in dust accompanied by a spider on my towels. I was a little freaked at this, but it's the country. It's to be expected. '

'We spend two fantastic weeks in the holiday cottage of Tongue Farm near Bantham Beach. The cottage has ample space, a veranda for enjoying the afternoon sun and a secluded terrace for morning breakfast. It contains everything you need and is yet very spacious. 'We spent 5 days here over New Years and had the most perfect time away. The farm house was so lovely and all our needs were catered for. There were even logs provided for the log fire. The location was absolutely stunning, very good for the soul. Plenty of room for all 7 of us, and the kids enjoyed it too. Beds are comfy. Helen the host greeted us when we arrived and provided us with all the information needed. She is a great host. We would very much recommend this place and will definitely...
