'The location is magnificent, this is such a stunning part of devon, and you walk out the door basically onto the beach! The room was beautiful, with colour and texture and charm. the only slight against it was the only parking is the public carpark nextdoor so about £10 per day, but thats not much of a gripe in the scheme of things and they were super dog friendly. I'd stay again in a heartbeat. '

'We stayed with our dog and were given the garden room. This gives exclusive access to the small back garden for the dog which was really useful. The room was comfortable and scrupulously clean and we were very reassured by the Covid safety routines in place. Our dog was allowed to be with us for breakfast and dinner and the food was delicious. The staff are very kind and friendly. We would definitely stay again.'

'Didn't see he host at all during my stay. Although there were no issues, I knew if I needed them they were a phone call away. The room was well equipped with a bath and shower, kettle, hair dryer, towels etc. Very comfortable and quiet. I dropped something out of my pocket and as I was looking for it, seen that under the furniture was covered in dust accompanied by a spider on my towels. I was a little freaked at this, but it's the country. It's to be expected. '

'I had a 4 night break to explore the countryside in South Devon and Malborough is close enough to the sea to be able to walk there without needing a car which I wanted and it is near a bus stop so you can go by train which I did. You can see some of the more out of the way places by foot which are not commercialised and there are plenty of footpaths and lanes to get around. there are a lot of options for walking and day trips.I had a single room which was economical with a newly refurbished...
