'The best way to describe the Great Western is with the two words, quaint and quirky! The house is in the middle of a massive re-vamp, but that did not impinge on my stay, which was short, but long enough to form a very positive opinion.

We contacted reception the next morning and they were very considerate and we were offered an alternative room that was more acceptable. The location, food and the staff were excellent. We hope to return.'

"Lovely place and very friendly hosts Tom and Rosie. The location is great (walking distance to harbour, sea front and main street). Tom knows all the great places to see, drink and eat. I especially liked the harbour light, looking over the harbour with a nice glass of wine and some great food)"
