'The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. My room for one person was spacious and comfortably. . I loved the small kitchen and the crumpets and jam ! The only minus point was there was no airco and the room was very warm even with the 2 fans that were provided on full.'

'Amazing staff and cute little cafe on site. Brampton is a cute town a very short drive away as is Hadrian's wall. Amazing little cabin to unplug and relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Carlisle is also an easy 20 minute drive or so.'

'The property was clean and well taken care of. There was plenty of firewood to heat the hot tub and have a fire. The cabins were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The only issue we had was on check-in, we never got the email that gave us access to the cabin. Luckily, the landowner was walking around at 9:30 p.m. and was able to let us into the cabin. I definitely wish we could have a few more days there. It was definitely worth the price'

'We loved our stay at the Milecastle Inn. Our little apartment was a perfect size for us, clean and well equipped. They even stocked it with snacks and breakfast items. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was cozy with good food. The most amazing part was that you can easily walk to Hadrian’s Wall from the Inn. It is also right next to the bus stop from Haltwhistle and the train station. Overall it made for a perfect vacation!'

'The location is excellent, close to the city center. The parking opportunities are limited, fortunately unloading and loading is possible in the street of the location. The apartment is well equipped and sizable. However, the windows pf apartment 3 are facing an inner court with a venting system of a restaurant. It produces strong kitchen smells during most of the day. It should be discussed with the owner how to reduce the smells (with scrubs, perhaps).'

'Great place for our overnight stay en route St Andrews! The property is on third floor and whilst it looks a bit small ( will admit we were a bit unsure) as soon as you open the door into the penthouse, it is welcoming, warm and cosy! It is bigger than we thought and had all we needed for our stay. We walked about the town and there was plenty of places to eat and 2 spars and a coop for essentials. We had a nice drink at Howard Arms (dog friendly) and then a curry take out.Kelly was responsive...
