'This was our second visit to The Boathouse this year and it was fantastic again. We love the setup and the view of Banff beach and the ocean. A very comfortable home from home that we highly recommend.We will be back'

'I will happily admit that I booked this not really knowing anything about the property but we needed somewhere to stay that was inexpensive. We were visiting the area to see family. The accommodation on the website says shared bathrooms- not something we really wanted but nevertheless it turned out that we had a room with our own toilet and wash basin. There were shower rooms and bathrooms close to all the rooms in our part of the accommodation. The decor is a bit tired but I understand that it...

'Very friendly and attentive host. Cozy and practical cottage, impressive garden. The area is truly a hidden treasure with relaxed people.'

'A good start for a recent refurbishment. No doubt seating for the sun room and outside furniture will be available in due course which will certainly enhance the property. Garden furniture would improve residents stay given the beautiful surroundings. Lack of storage upstairs and sufficient seating and crockery we feel is not adequate for 8 people. We felt it was a lovely property more suited to perhaps 6 people than 8. We had a lovely stay.'

'Amazing house and facilities for our family of 8 adults and 5 children aged from 2 to 10 years. Everyone loved the indoor swimming pool snooker and table tennis. The children enjoyed the outdoor facilities. The nice weather was a bonus with lots of lovely walks. The facilities in the house were first class and I would highly recommend this property. Hopefully we will return for another family get together. '

'This was my first holiday in four years due to ill health and I couldn't have picked a better place to stay. It was so relaxing and sitting on the patio listening to and watching the various birds was so therapeutic. The epitome of mindfulness. I even heard my first Cuckoo that wasn't on the telly!The cottage itself was exactly as described by Anthony and Carrie. Everything was there that I needed. Well laid out accommodation and the bed was so comfy. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway...

"Don't be surprised by the route to this place. This 600 year old place has all the luxury and comfort you wish for. Of all places we stayed they made us feel more welcome than any of the others. Service and accommodation are impeccable. If this is not enough to convince you then let me tell you about breakfast. All fresh and in an abundance I've never seen before. Custom made breakfast with fresh eggs from their own chickens. Everybody should try it out but I still hope there's a room for us when we return there. Thank you Cas & Chris "
